We visited the restaurant as a family. We ordered the sashimi set meal, the seasonal set meal (sashimi and tempura), and the chef's choice set meal (simmered sea bream head). The sashimi had a good variety and was fresh and delicious. The simmered sea bream head was impressive in both quantity and taste. The quality for the price of under 1000 yen was excellent. The elderly couple running the restaurant may take some time to serve the dishes, but it added to the relaxed atmosphere of the place.

I went for lunch and ordered the chef's special set meal. It included dishes like conger eel tempura, grilled sweetfish, and Kamo eggplant. I chose grilled gudgeon as the main dish, and it was delicious and very satisfying. The portion size was generous and the cost performance was excellent! In addition to the gudgeon, they also served a little bit of Japanese halfbeak and Kamo eggplant on the side, which was a nice touch. The restaurant is small and seems to have many regular customers. I'm grateful to my gourmet boss for recommending this place. I definitely want to go back again!
