The accompanying salad was delicious, with crispy leafy greens, camembert cheese, zucchini, asparagus, soft and moist pumpkin, shiso, mushrooms, and beans, all topped with a refreshing soy sauce-based dressing with a hint of vinegar. The shiso added a refreshing touch of Japanese flavor. For dessert, I also ordered the pudding, which had a firm texture and a perfect balance of bittersweetness. It's a simple menu that makes you want to come back for more. The restaurant is located near the Kamo River, with a lush green interior and fresh flowers for sale, making it a highly recommended place to enjoy a delicious meal.

There was a girl in elementary school in front of me. The girl bought flowers and the staff talked to her at eye level, which was lovely! Luckily, there was an open table outside, so I sat down. Since it was a bit warm, I ordered a summer orange and herb soda. It arrived after a short wait, looking refreshing and delicious. The herbs were homemade, and the staff mentioned that all of them are edible except for rosemary. I followed their advice and mixed the herbs well before taking a sip. It was very refreshing and perfect for the warm weather. It was a nice break. Thank you for the meal.

It was a relatively large portion, topped with rum raisins, whipped cream, and a mint leaf picked from the cafe's garden. The pudding had a firm texture, with a rich and bitter caramel sauce followed by a sweet and creamy custard. The rum raisins added a unique tartness, and the fresh mint leaf provided a refreshing finish. It was delicious! We chatted with friends and lost track of time, enjoying the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the cafe. It was a truly enjoyable experience. Thank you!

I tried the seasonal limited edition cocoa with roasted marshmallows. It was not only cute to look at, but also a sweet and delicious cocoa that warmed me up.

I had a drink with my colleagues in Kyoto. I arrived at the venue too early by mistake, so I decided to kill time by taking a walk. I walked endlessly in the scorching sun and couldn't bear the heat, so I searched for a cafe to cool off but couldn't find one easily. I found a place under an ice flag on the bank of the Kamo River and went in without hesitation. I ordered a shaved ice. It was extremely huge, and I also added the option of ice cream as a topping. The price was 1100 yen, but it was very filling and instantly cooled me down as I sweated.
