I passed by the store many times, but this was my first visit. I had mistakenly thought it was a shop for tourists. There is a beautiful courtyard in the back of the store, creating a nice atmosphere. I sat at the counter to order, and it operates on a one-order system which was not a problem. The coffee was delicious, and the sweets were visually appealing and tasty. You can also purchase a variety of sweets. The rum-infused shaved ice looked delicious, but I was afraid of getting drunk so I gave up on it. There is also a second-floor seating area, making it a recommended restaurant.

I didn't even know the name, but I heard that Kyoto Gion Anon is famous in Kyoto. I ordered Sanpokan, attracted by Anpone (a sandwich of sweet bean paste and mascarpone) and Brulee. Personally, I don't usually eat sweet bean paste because it's too sweet, but with mascarpone in Anpone, it tasted like cheesecake and was very enjoyable with the crispy texture of the sweet bean paste.

Today in Gion, it was occasionally raining, making it less hot than usual but still humid. There were many foreign tourists, and the shaved ice and sweets shops had long lines. I decided to explore the back streets where it was less crowded. I tried a matcha parfait, which included matcha ice cream, matcha jelly, red bean paste, cereal, and various textures to enjoy. It was from one of the several dessert shops in Kyoto, and it was the main store. The dessert was delicious and helped me cool down. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Kyoto to eat adult shaved ice! \(^o^)/ I had a delicious dashimaki lunch at Kyoto Rikyu before coming to Gion. It's convenient to come to Kyoto by car, as some places offer parking for up to 12 hours for only 1200 yen on weekdays. I was seated on the 2nd floor at Anon. The menu looked like this. Kiki Lala said she gets cold easily, so she skipped the shaved ice and chose the famous anpone. I tried a bit and the macaron was moist and delicious, and the manju was different! So delicious! What is this! Even hot tea feels delicious in the summer. I was aiming for the adult shaved ice, which was the limited edition Caramel Rum Raisin. I ordered extra condensed milk, but it was forgotten and brought later. It's a truly adult flavor. The finely chopped rum raisins are delicious! The nuts and red bean paste inside the ice go well with the bitter caramel sauce! Kyaa kyaa kyaa~! This flavor is addictive. Seriously delicious! You must try it. It's an incredibly delicious dish that will blow your mind! The adult shaved ice... I loved it! \(^o^)/ If you have time, come visit Princess Cinderella's blog, Instagram, and YouTube too.

In Gion, Kyoto, there are many cafes where you can enjoy creative sweets based on anko (sweet red bean paste). Among them, the combination of anko and mascarpone cheese in a monaka is particularly delicious. The harmony of sweetness and sourness is delightful. The atmosphere of the store, with a courtyard, is very Kyoto-like.

I was planning to order from this shop before. It was right next to a shop I often visit. First, I was drawn to the 2-month wait on the website, so I bought the cheese-filled sweets. The smooth cheese cream combined with the sweet bean paste was exquisite! Delicious. The cheese was not too heavy, but rather refreshing and mellow, showing its popularity. And then the sweet bean paste bun. I thought it would be small and have a typical taste. However, it exceeded my expectations in terms of deliciousness. The bun was crispy, and the cheese cream and sweet bean paste on top were just the right size, not overpowering each other. Yummy! This would make a great souvenir to receive. The peach was also not too sweet, with a balanced flavor. Delicious. Personally, I think the combination of sweet bean paste and cream cheese is the best. Even those who don't usually like sweet bean paste buns would be pleased with this one.

Before 3 pm on a Saturday, I wrote my name on a paper outside the visited store and waited. There was one other group of waiting customers. Inside the store, there were two 4-seater tables on the first floor, a counter with 4 seats, and on the second floor, one 5-seater table and two 2-seater tables. After waiting for 20 minutes, I was seated inside. It was hot, so I was tempted by the shaved ice, but I ended up ordering the Sanpouka set and a drink. The Anpoune was a seasonal peach flavor. For the two choices, I selected Anmitsu and Anmitsu with ice cream. I ordered a cold green tea to drink, which was brought to me right away. The Anpoune with peach and mascarpone was refreshing on this hot day, with a slight acidity making it satisfying. The vanilla ice cream was also refreshing. However, the Anmitsu and Anmitsu with ice cream were very sweet, making it quite heavy to eat on a hot day. I thought the green tea would be refreshing, but it wasn't enough, so I ended up asking for a refill of water. Maybe it would have been better if it was a bit cooler. In the summer, if you want to enjoy various things, these two dishes would have been better if they were a bit lighter. I regret not getting the shaved ice after all...

I choose this shop for souvenirs or gifts for precious people. I visited the cafe during my trip to Kyoto, but I didn't find anything impressive. The shop is quite small. Honestly, it's enough to just take something home, so I won't be visiting again. They don't even serve "anmitsu" in the cafe, so that's another reason why I wasn't impressed.

Anon Sanpo-ka, a seasonal Japanese confectionery, offers a trio of traditional sweets specializing in sweet bean paste. In addition to the signature dish, Anpone, you can choose two out of five other options. A small serving of ice cream is included for a refreshing touch. The quality of each sweet is exceptionally high, making it worth the price. With delicious taste and appealing presentation, it's a satisfying dish overall.

My daughter and I went on a one-night trip to Gion, Kyoto. First, we visited this shop. Anpone is delicious! We had 5 anpone for 1700 yen and 5 matcha anpone for 1700 yen. We also tried an dorayaki for 220 yen. The anpone was consistently delicious, with sweet bean paste and mascarpone cheese sandwiched in between. The dorayaki was small and very elegant. It was a delightful experience!

My daughter recommended this store. I looked forward to visiting it. The second floor room has a charming and calming atmosphere. The sweet bean paste in the Japanese sweets is delicious and beautiful. The designs on the sugar decorations for the trays change and are enjoyable to look at. I felt their thoughtfulness. The matcha tea is also delicious. I bought cherry blossom sweet bean paste as a souvenir.

This shop was also one of the destinations for my trip to Kyoto. I tried the "an fondue" I was looking forward to, along with matcha. I dipped fu (wheat gluten), various sweets, and fruits into two types of hot sweet sauces. It was a gentle and heartwarming sweetness. I enjoyed the fu.

When buying souvenirs, I used the cafe. Even though there were empty seats, the waiting time was too long and I got tired. The specialty anpan was a delicious combination of red bean paste and cream cheese. Of course, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I had been curious about Anpoone for a while and finally decided to visit after learning that I could try it at a cafe without having to buy a whole bottle. I chose the "Seasonal Annon Sanpokan" for 1320 yen, which allowed me to select three different types of sweets. I chose the chestnut kinako, pistachio, and an for the remaining flavor. Anpoone involves placing anko or mascarpone on the monaka shell, and the combination was truly delicious! The an was also good, with a mix of meringue and white bean paste. I also tried the "Kyotamba Zenzai Coffee" for 880 yen, which was a combination of zenzai, ice cream, and coffee. It was a great experience with a Japanese atmosphere, and the fact that they accept PayPay was convenient.

Let's buy some favorite sweets as a souvenir for someone who always takes care of us (ㅅ´ ˘ `)♡. Let's buy the famous confectionery "Anpone" from Kyoto Gion "Anon" and the owner patissier Seiichiro Nishizawa's produced confectionery from Osaka's famous store "Seiichiro Nishizawa". Of course, let's also buy some for ourselves♪ Anpone (pumpkin) 1836 yen (tax included) "Ebikabocha" with added "sweet potato" creates a very autumn-like paste. You can fill your favorite amount of bean paste just before eating in a self-service style (*^ー゚)b. The round shape of the sweet potato leaves a satisfying texture. The not too sweet bean paste is also to my liking. Of course, when you add more mascarpone, it adds acidity and transforms the monaka into a refreshing one✨. The monaka skin uses hineri mochi, which is crispy and fragrant...♪ It's also great that it doesn't stick to your teeth. Following the chestnut kinako, the pumpkin was also incredibly delicious (๑´ڡ`๑). "Anpone" can be purchased not only at the Gion main store but also at Kyoto Isetan store, Kyoto Daimaru store, Shinsaibashi Daimaru store, Osaka International Airport store (Itami Airport), Hakata Daimaru store, Tokyo Gift Palette store, Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi main store. You can also purchase it online. *・。゚♬*゜Thank you for the mealヽ(*´∀`)ノ

I visited because I was craving something sweet. There were many options like matcha and hojicha flavors that I really wanted to try. The prices were a bit high, but since I was in Kyoto, I decided to try a variety of items. They were sweet, elegant, and delicious. They also have a wide selection of drinks.

I used it for takeout. The restaurant was very elegant, and I wished I could have dined in. The "anpōne" filling I received was not heavy at all, creating a harmonious combination of crispy monaka shell and moist filling. It was delicious.

"Anon's 'anpone' at Anon in Gion, Kyoto. A traditional Japanese confectionery that you prepare yourself. I tried Anon's 'anpone' on July 2, 2022. The sweet red bean paste and mascarpone cheese were separated into different jars, while the monaka (wafer shell) was individually wrapped and placed in the box. The monaka came in a set of two pieces, and you fill them with mascarpone and red bean paste before eating. It had an elegant taste and was delicious. There were two types of red bean paste available, premium and regular, but the regular one was tasty enough. There's something special about preparing it yourself that makes it even more enjoyable."

Crispy and crunchy Monaka filled with red bean paste made from Tokachi beans and homemade cream with Mascarpone cheese. The delicate and refined packaging revealed a subtle Japanese aesthetic. The thin Monaka had a satisfying crunch and a perfect balance of sweetness with the red bean paste and rich Mascarpone cream. Although there was a lovely spoon included, I couldn't resist and ended up using a regular spoon instead (regretful). I wonder if I can buy this in Tokyo! I definitely want to stop by.

Located near Hanami Koji in Gion, the main store of "Anon" is produced by the owner patissier Seiichiro Nishizawa, a renowned shop in Osaka. A few days ago, I was debating whether to order online when my beloved partner suggested, "Let's go to Kyoto to see camping gear." Is he a psychic? LOL. The exterior of "Anon" exudes the traditional charm of Gion, with the first floor at the back and the second floor serving as a cafe space. In addition to their famous Anpone, they also offer "Hannari" sweets. I purchased the Premium Anpone (Coffee) with 5 pieces for 1,944 yen (tax included) and the Anpone (grains) with 2 pieces for 778 yen (tax included). Inside, there are individually wrapped small Senbei, cream in a jar, and a wooden spoon. You fill the Senbei with your desired amount of cream before eating. The Senbei uses Hanejuu mochi, which is crispy and light. The perfect balance of mascarpone's slight saltiness, coffee aroma, and sweetness is a match made in heaven. The coffee used in this collaboration is a limited edition using the award-winning special coffee from Kyoto's "Unir." The classic and most popular "grains" were also delicious. With a shelf life of 30 days, it's perfect for souvenirs. It can be purchased not only in Kyoto but also in department stores in Osaka, Tokyo, and Fukuoka. Thank you for the delicious meal.
