On March 22, 2019 (Friday) at noon, I visited a shop that had caught my attention for some time as many MyRevi members had visited before. The name of the shop is "MILK BLOSSOM" located in the Nayamachi shopping street. When looking at the entrance from the shopping street, it has an old-fashioned coffee shop atmosphere. The lunch menu was handwritten and displayed on a notice board, and as I entered a bit further, there was a large glass showcase with various menu panels inside. As I proceeded to the back, there was a glass door entrance with an automatic door that was a bit slow to respond and opened after a pause. However, once inside, the atmosphere was slightly different from what I had imagined from the outside. The shop had a vertical layout, with a glass-covered courtyard visible in the center of the room. The natural light coming in made the interior bright and healthy. I sat at a 2-person table near the wall and asked the female staff to show me the menu. They offered a variety of options such as daily lunch specials, weekly lunch specials, and regular set meals. I ordered the favorite menu of MyRevi members, the Yakiniku Bento Box (served with miso soup) for 720 yen (tax included). After waiting for about 10 minutes, the meal was served. It was presented in a lidded bento box container. When I removed the lid, a delicious aroma of grilled meat wafted out. The yakiniku was seasoned with a sweet and savory flavor, with a hint of miso, enticing the appetite. The portion of meat was generous, providing a satisfying meal. The side salad included cabbage and potato salad. The potato salad was also homemade and delicious. The rice was tasty, and the miso soup was good as well. After finishing the meal, I suddenly realized... did the meal come with a drink? The ladies next to me who ordered the daily lunch were served coffee afterwards. The staff cleared the bento box and soup bowl from the table, and although I waited for a while, they only came to pour water, so I assumed that a drink after the meal was not included. I paid the bill and left. Looking at the menu in the showcase outside the shop, indeed, the yakiniku bento did not come with a complimentary drink. The customers mainly consisted of local elderly gentlemen and ladies, but there were also office workers and young women dining alone. I felt that this shop has maintained its popularity in the area for many years. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
