I had the beef tongue set meal. It came with miso soup and a side dish buffet, so I was satisfied.

Service was excellent on October 2nd!! The portions were generous!! The food was delicious with a nice amount of fat. Came back again on October 22nd - the tongue was really tasty. Also recommend the deep-fried tofu and sashimi.

This is my second time using this restaurant for a workplace gathering. The entrance of the restaurant is small, about 5-6 meters wide, with a depth of around 10 meters. The interior design is elaborate yet has a calm atmosphere. The restroom also has a fancy design, although I had trouble figuring out how to flush the toilet until I noticed a sign indicating it was a pull-string mechanism. As for the food, this time the organizer chose a course menu of all-you-can-eat for 3200 yen and all-you-can-drink for 1800 yen (excluding tax). Initially, they brought out three large plates of meat for the course, and we could order other items from the all-you-can-eat menu based on our preferences. There was plenty of meat, and even though I have a small appetite due to my age, the younger colleagues ate everything and even finished the leftovers at our table, so I believe we got our money's worth. The taste was also excellent, which explains why they enjoyed it so much. The beef tongue was a bit thinner compared to another restaurant I frequent, but it was still delicious. I particularly enjoyed the hormone meat, which had a good amount of fat and was chewy and tasty. I mostly ate the meat rare (except for non-beef items, which I cooked thoroughly), and I didn't experience any stomach issues, confirming its freshness. Although the main focus is on grilled meat, there are also Japanese-style sashimi dishes available for a refreshing change. The owner and staff, including the friendly waitresses, added to the enjoyable atmosphere. I would love to visit this restaurant again, but since I usually stay at a hotel near Fukuchiyama Station when drinking, it's a bit inconvenient as it takes about 10 minutes by taxi to get there.

July 8th, after a long time, I had a mini lunch. This time, I had the pork ginger stir-fry set meal. After placing my order, I enjoyed the lunch buffet as usual, starting with a salad while waiting for a few minutes. The rice was normal, without the dry texture it used to have. Of course, I ordered the extra-large portion, and naturally had a refill, which was a bit too much for lunch (laughs). April 9th, today I had another meat dish for lunch at the mini restaurant. I was the second group to arrive as the restaurant had just opened. This time, I ordered the hormone udon set meal with a light flavor. Since I arrived early, I enjoyed the buffet to the fullest, with salad, simmered hamburgers, and oden. Finally, the hormone udon arrived on a hot plate! The hormone was juicy and full of fat, very delicious. The rice went well with it. Of course, I ordered the extra-large portion of rice and had a refill of miso soup (laughs). Excluding tax, it was 880 yen. Thank you for the delicious meal today! I have visited the mini meat dish restaurant several times. This time, I ordered the hormone set meal with a light flavor. While waiting for the dish to arrive, I enjoyed the buffet with salad, meatballs, and simmered fish head, which was quite abundant. I tried various dishes, but I didn't want to get too full before the main dish arrived, so I ate moderately (laughs). After a few minutes of waiting, the main dish, the hormone set meal, arrived. As expected, the owner deals with meat wholesaling, so the hormone was juicy and full of fat. The seasoning was just right with a light flavor. With the rice and miso soup being free refills, I naturally had a refill. It cost 950 yen including tax. I was very satisfied. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Fudou 9 Line towards Aya Town. After a while, you will see a video rental store on your right hand side. The shop is located on the ground floor of the apartment on the left hand side. The red sign of Doko Ramen serves as a landmark. As you try to enter the shop, you will notice a sign for the 2nd anniversary special menu. However, I was there for the yakiniku, so I ignored it. Upon entering the shop, I was directed to a raised seating area on the right with 4-6 person tables at 4 tables, and on the left there were 2 tables for 4 people. There were also counter seats, with a variety of buffet dishes lined up. Even though I was dining alone, I was guided to a 6-person table on the raised seating area with a warning that I might have to share the table. I pondered what to eat and saw a sign on the wall stating that there were only special menu items available that day. The options were Beef Stew Set and Pork Cutlet Curry Set, both priced at 880 yen. I chose the Beef Stew Set. While the buffet dishes were being prepared, the meal was already set on the table. The visual presentation of the home-cooked style dish was quite appealing. The meat was mostly shredded and tender, with only one piece retaining its shape. The vegetables consisted of one potato and one carrot. The taste was typical beef stew flavor. The rice, however, was not good, tasting like old poorly stored rice. The salad was decent, and the crab-flavored soup was also okay. The oden was delicious, with the daikon being particularly tasty. The fish cakes with various fillings were also delicious. Overall, it felt like a warm home-cooked meal. The price of 880 yen with a buffet seemed like a good deal. The shop seemed to be popular among regular customers. There were no ashtrays visible, so I believe it is a non-smoking establishment, which was a plus. Yakiniku is only available in the evenings, which was disappointing. I will provide a rating after trying their meat dishes. Thank you for the meal. Second Review (September 2015): When I went to Torikura, the sign was not displayed, so I decided to visit this place instead. I ordered the Hormone Set, while my companion ordered the Karaage Set. The buffet included salad, side dishes, fruits, and more. The dishes arrived shortly after. The Hormone Set had plenty of vegetables and a healthy visual presentation. The meat was tender and fatty, with a barbecue sauce flavor. The Karaage had a huge portion, with 5 large pieces. It was crispy and a bit oily. My companion couldn't finish it all and gave me one piece. It was priced at 680 yen, which was a great deal for the portion size. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I was in the mood for some serious meat (lol) and decided to come to a meat dish restaurant after a long time. I ordered the beef yakiniku set because I was craving for some meat. I was surprised to see that the buffet had become more abundant than the last time I visited! There were more varieties of salad, simmered dishes, and fruits. While waiting for the main dish, I started with some salad and beef tendon stew. The tendon stew was soft and delicious. The meat finally arrived on the hot plate with plenty of vegetables. The seasoning was a bit strong, but the rice went well with it. Before I knew it, I had finished my rice and asked for a refill. This restaurant offers free refills for rice and miso soup when you order a set meal. I ended my meal with a coffee from the barista and left feeling satisfied.
