Fried chicken lunch set for ¥1,000 (with drink). I love the fried chicken here. The name KANOA apparently means "freedom" in Hawaiian. The stylish white interior is nice. The rice balls, side dishes, miso soup, pickles, everything is delicious. It's a kind and cozy place.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Fukuchiyama Station North Exit, this shop is situated near Tonkichi and Menya Somie's, just east of the Fukuchiyama Station Front Street shopping district. There is no parking lot at the shop, but there is a Times parking lot nearby. The shop itself is small, with only 6 counter seats and one table for 4 people. The menu is simple, offering onigiri sets, lunch sets, and additional side dishes and drinks. I ordered a lunch set with a side dish and main dish. The onigiri were small but tasty, made with Aya rice. The main dish was pot-au-feu with vegetables and sausage. The portion size and lack of variety were a bit disappointing for the price. Overall, the food was delicious but lacking in portion size and value.

Onigiri and karaage are both very filling and delicious.
