Located near Fukuchiyama City Citizens Hospital, this restaurant is just a 3-minute walk from the Kyoto traffic "Fukuchiyama City Citizens Hospital" bus stop. It is located in a tenant building called "Patio 21" about a 5-minute walk from Tanetsu Fukuchiyama City Citizens Hospital Ekimae Station. There are 4 parking spaces in front of the store, and you can also park in the parking lot on the first floor of a rental apartment behind the building. The entrance to the tenant is a bit dark, but once you enter, you will find a counter on the right and tables on the left. On this day, I wanted to try deer meat dishes that I had seen in the newspaper, so I ordered the 2500 yen B course. The appetizer included roasted deer (I think), ham, carrot salad with vinegar dressing, simmered soybeans and potatoes with game meat, seasoned egg, and liver paste. Everything was delicious, especially the simmered soybeans and potatoes with game meat. Next was the deer shoulder meat roast with blood sauce, which was tender and flavorful. The dessert made with San Marcellan was served with tea, and it had a creamy texture with a slightly burnt surface. The chef's passion for utilizing overlooked parts of deer meat was evident in the delicious dishes. Overall, I enjoyed the game meat dishes and appreciated the chef's dedication to sustainability.

I visited "Shika to Wine Tanba Classico", which is about a 20-minute walk from Fukuchiyama Station, for lunch. I ordered the 3000 yen course which includes appetizers, pasta, meat dish, and cheese, as well as 3 glasses of wine, totaling 5400 yen. Among the 6 appetizers, my favorite was the low-temperature roasted venison! It was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The salted and aged pheasant with seasonal vegetables oil pasta was also excellent, with the oil perfectly complementing the meat. I enjoyed it with a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The roasted venison shoulder paired with a California Merlot was a must-try. I had a great time chatting with the owner. Thank you for a wonderful lunchtime experience.
