In the afternoon of that day, I happened to come across a new restaurant near Kitano Tenmangu Shrine while walking. They offered various dishes such as tea soba, stick sushi, seafood bowl, and seafood set. The mackerel sushi caught my eye, with three options priced at 1500 yen, 2400 yen, and 3000 yen. I ordered the cheapest mackerel sushi for 1500 yen and tried some in the restaurant while saving the rest to enjoy at home. The overall satisfaction was decent, with a nice balance of vinegar rice. The thinner slices were expected due to choosing the cheapest option, but the thicker slices would likely be available with the higher-priced options. The restaurant had counter and tatami seating, but the atmosphere was slightly uncomfortable due to some off-putting behavior from the staff. Located right in front of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, the restaurant offers a variety of Japanese dishes and drinks at affordable prices. It seems to be a new establishment, with a focus on lunch service and reservation-only dinner service for the time being.

The Big Surprise Seafood Bowl had a surprising variety of fish in it. It was worth the price and the fish was fresh and delicious. The mackerel sushi was also excellent. I'm glad I went.
