The interior of the shop is a quiet space, making it easy for solo customers to visit. The staff kindly ask for permission before taking photos. On this day, during the Golden Week holiday, the shop was open on a Monday which is usually a regular holiday. Luckily, there were no other customers present, so I was able to take many photos. Thank you very much. The coffee and desserts were delicious.

Located a 1-minute walk from Eizan Dentetsu Ichijoji Station. I visited around 2 pm on a weekday. I had been wanting to visit this cafe for a while. It is on the 3rd floor of a building, with a discreet sign. I climbed the stairs and entered the quiet and calm atmosphere. There are 5 table seats, with 2 groups of customers already there. It's a cozy spot, suitable for solo customers or pairs. You need to ask the staff before taking photos, and it's one drink per person, but you can order the Coffee Jelly Parfait separately. The Coffee Jelly Parfait (¥800) had perfectly bitter coffee jelly with a nice firmness, and the creamy blancmange was delicious. The vanilla ice cream and whipped cream were very smooth. It was simple but well-balanced and very tasty. Just as I had hoped, it was a lovely cafe. I'd love to visit again.

Located on the third floor of a building across from Chayama Station, Kissa Tensen offers a spacious and tranquil space with a base of white, gray, and wood colors. I ordered a drip coffee (Guatemala medium-dark roast ¥550) and a pudding (¥450). The Guatemala coffee had a sophisticated and flavorful bitterness, which paired well with the pudding served in an ice cup with whipped cream on top. The pudding had a slightly firmer texture compared to one I had recently at another cafe, which I preferred. Unfortunately, there has been a recent trend of establishments implementing a no-photography policy. While I am not sure of the specific circumstances at this cafe, I saw straightforward messages at each table. It is disheartening to hear about individuals who selfishly disrupt the dining experience for others by taking photos and leaving without enjoying their meal, leading to such policies being put in place. As a cafe enthusiast, I felt saddened by this behavior and reminded myself to be considerate and not cause any inconvenience to the establishments I visit.

I went shopping in the food procurement street. This area is close to where my daughter used to live when she was a university student. There's a natural supermarket nearby, as well as a select shop, a bookstore called Keibunsha, and a quiet café that recently opened next to Ichijoji Station. I saw it on social media and heard that the coffee is delicious. Before going to the supermarket, I stopped by the café for coffee and pudding. The coffee was Mandheling dark roast with a refreshing bitterness that I enjoyed. The pudding was old-fashioned with a firm texture and plenty of caramel, plus unsweetened whipped cream on top. The interior of the café was clean and simple, with what looked like tiles on the floor. It reminded me of when my husband and I bought a condo in Umeda and had to remove the floor tiles with a chisel because we didn't like them. The café had a soft sunlight filtering through sheer curtains, and two young couples came in for a photo shoot. It seems like this pudding is Instagram-worthy. Even though it's a bit away from the main street, it's conveniently located next to Eizan Electric Railway Station, Keibunsha bookstore, and a variety store. You could make a day out of it by browsing books, shopping for goods, and relaxing at this café. And after having ramen at the nearby ramen street, you could come here for coffee to settle your stomach.

A coffee shop that roasts its own coffee beans and makes homemade sweets. The interior, enveloped in white walls, exudes a soft, quiet atmosphere. Music plays slowly from speakers hanging from the ceiling, crafted in a workshop in Nara. The menu offers about 4 types of drinks and sweets. I ordered Mandheling coffee for ¥550 and cheesecake for ¥600. The Mandheling coffee has a rising aroma that tickles the nostrils, and when sipped, it slides smoothly over the tongue with a mellow richness and a lingering bitterness. I really like this Mandheling coffee. The cheesecake has a slightly thick, crumbly bottom with a slightly dense, smooth cheesecake. I'm also curious about the handcrafted cocoa, so I'd like to visit again.

It's calm and has a really nice atmosphere♪ The pudding is a little firm. The coffee jelly parfait and rare cheesecake seem to be popular. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of a building, and there is no elevator so please be aware of that. There are about 10 seats inside.

I went to this cafe at the end of last year, on Christmas Eve. After doing some shopping, I saw the sign downstairs and went up to the third floor. The place had a clean and spacious feel, with large table seats. I ordered a blend coffee and a firm pudding. The pudding was not too sweet, more on the bitter side, but delicious. The coffee was adjusted to be sweeter, and it was a nostalgic taste. There were two other groups of customers, but they left soon, leaving a peaceful silence. I spent some relaxing time in this cozy space, feeling like both the taste, the location, and the time spent there were luxurious. It's a great cafe.

※Please limit the use to two people or less. When you climb the spiral staircase to the third floor of the building next to the station, you will arrive at this place with modest signs. It feels like a calm space in a different world from the ground, fortunately with no other guests. When I ordered pudding, I could hear the sound of a whisk shaking. The taste is reminiscent of neoclassical with a firm texture. Although I thought it was specialized in coffee, I was surprised by the high-level taste. I had two cups of Guatemala blend. It had a low extraction temperature similar to Cafe Verdi, with a light taste that goes down smoothly. I felt like having another cup after a long time. It is a new store, but it seems to be run by someone with a lot of experience in a subleased space, and the level of completion is already quite high. It is a rare 22:00 closing store in Sakyo Ward. Personally, I think the atmosphere from dusk suits it well. It was a quiet and peaceful coffee shop.

Pudding. It looks good, but doesn't have much flavor. It is lightly flavored to bring out the taste of the ingredients and the coffee, but in this case, it lacks not only sweetness but also the richness of the ingredients. There is no aroma of eggs, milk, cream, or vanilla beans. It's more like a pudding-flavored jelly. Even as someone who prefers lightly flavored foods, like myself, it feels this way. I wonder how young people who are used to drinking sweet drinks like Starbucks Frappuccinos would feel about it. The coffee is delicious, but there is a place nearby where you can get coffee of the same quality and delicious sweets at the same time, so unfortunately, I would choose that place. (When I want a dark roast or when I want to read, I go to Aoiro Coffee. When I want a coffee with acidity, I go to Akatsuki Coffee. These are my preferences.)
