I visited Miyauchi in northern Kyoto, a three and a half hour bus ride from Umeda, for the main purpose of visiting a shot bar run by pro wrestler Arashi Danjiro, who is also a member of the local social pro wrestling group "Gamushara Pro Wrestling" in Kitakyushu. The bar has a variety of gins available, and you can enjoy them at a slightly discounted price compared to usual. The atmosphere of the bar, located in a street lined with old houses, is cozy and welcoming. The entrance is like a traditional house, and you can enter with your shoes on. I tried the "Toki no Utsukushii Gin Tonic," a Japanese gin blended with green tea, citrus, and distilled sansho pepper, which was fruity and easy to drink with a tonic. I also tried the "Toki no Utsukushii Gin Coke," but I think the gin tonic was better. I ended up drinking gin tonic until closing time. I forgot to try the popular spice curry this time, but the master, who is passionate and meticulous, makes it almost every day. I will definitely try it next time. There is a cover charge of 500 yen, and you can pay with PayPay.
