August 2015 Review: About 30-40 minutes from Fukuchiyama city towards Tottori on Route 9, near the border with Hyogo prefecture, there is a restaurant on the left side of the road. The restaurant looks clean and well-maintained from the outside to the inside. Inside, there are 4-person tables on the right side and it seems there are also tatami seating on the left. An elderly female server will ask if you want to grill or cook on an iron plate. I chose grilling. I ordered the assorted offal and one large bowl of rice. The server joked about adding more if it's delicious. The offal assortment includes various parts like hormone, tripe, and honeycomb tripe. The meat is fatty and the flames rise high. You can choose garlic or non-garlic sauce. I chose garlic sauce which was delicious. The meat and sauce were tasty. I quickly finished it and ordered more pork belly and another offal assortment. The pork belly had marbling and a mix of tenderness and chewiness. The lack of seasoning allows you to enjoy it with just salt provided on the table. The rice was also delicious. The total cost was 2730 yen, a bit expensive but the meal was enjoyable. September 2015 Review: We visited the restaurant because a customer wanted to eat yakiniku. We ordered pork belly and the offal assortment. I noticed ramen and fried rice on the side, not listed on the menu. I promptly ordered the ramen, a classic soy sauce flavor with clear soup, plenty of bean sprouts, 1 slice of chashu, 2 slices of kamaboko, and green onions. The medium-thin noodles were slightly soft. It's best to share when dining with others. I'm not sure about the price, but it might be around 950 yen. It's recommended to ask before ordering.

I first visited this restaurant when I was in junior high school, about 15 years ago. I came here for a gathering of parents and supporters for a club activity. Since then, the store has been renovated and is now a clean and smoke-free establishment. The highlight here is definitely the sauce. The garlic-infused sauce enhances the flavor of the hormone meat perfectly. While the tongue and skirt steak are delicious, my recommendation is the hormone platter "Mori" and the "grilled udon noodles" for a finishing touch. If you go with a few people, eat the Mori endlessly, and finish with grilled udon noodles, you can enjoy it for less than 3000 yen per person without alcohol. The customer service, which used to have a certain reputation in the past, has become more polite, and the restaurant has transformed into a beloved local yakiniku place. Thank you for entertaining us with the same taste and prices as always. I will visit a few times a year.

It's located near my parents' house, so we often use it for family gatherings. It's along National Route 9 at the border of Kyoto Prefecture and Hyogo Prefecture in Yakuno. There is a roadside station (Yakuno) in front of it. Since it's a yakiniku restaurant, I wish I could enjoy alcohol as well, but it's a bit difficult without a car. However, being a famous area for Tajima beef, all the dishes (yakiniku) are delicious, especially the hormone packed with plenty of fat is exquisite. The restaurant is quite spacious, so it's suitable for large groups. The prices are reasonable, so why not use it on your way back from skiing or hot springs in the area?
