Homemade Western-style restaurant "Kitchen Nakao". The most recommended menu is the "Variety Set" where various dishes are served on one plate. The contents include shrimp fry, chicken nuggets, crab croquette, beef ginger stir-fry, salad, spaghetti, American-style corn potage soup, rice, and pickles. The amazing thing is that this restaurant does not use any frozen food products, everything is made from scratch. The flavors are unique and not your typical dishes, offering a one-of-a-kind taste that you can only experience here. The standout dish is the beef ginger stir-fry, which has a flavor closer to yakiniku than the usual pork ginger stir-fry, with a perfect blend of sansho pepper aroma and sauce. The crab croquette is a must-try, with a crispy outer layer and a creamy filling that's not overpowering, but rich in sweetness and flavor. The shrimp fry is crispy all the way to the tail. The salad is fresh, and the homemade Southern island dressing has a perfect tanginess, while the tartar sauce is rich and wonderful. Every process is done with great care and attention to detail. The hamburger is not the trendy juicy type, but a nostalgic style that appeals to the Showa generation, made with a special blend of spices including nutmeg. The sauce, similar to tonkatsu sauce, complements the patty without overshadowing its taste. The special ketchup adds another layer of flavor. Overall, the hamburger here is not your typical tasty burger, but a unique creation with a well-spiced patty that has a familiar taste. The restaurant also offers various other set combinations that are equally appealing. Even for those who are not fond of meat, there are options like shrimp fry and scallop fry sets. There are also sets like steak and beef cutlet, and a "Teki ni Katsu" (defeat the enemy) set. Note that the "Variety Set" is usually served on regular ceramic plates, but in the photo, they used nostalgic stainless steel plates. Personally, I want to keep coming back to this place for its delicious food.
