I visited this restaurant for the first time based on the reviews of others. I made a reservation for the lunch course about a month ago, but I didn't know the seat until the day of, so I was hoping for a window seat... I arrived a little before the reservation time, and since it was the opening time, I was promptly shown to my seat. The staff who greeted me with a "Thank you for coming. O-okini." made me feel the atmosphere of Kyoto. The staff who showed me to my seat seemed to be a foreigner, but before sitting down, they asked, "Are you okay with the restroom?" From the appetizer to the dessert, I was able to enjoy the food with my eyes as well. The timing of the dishes coming out was just right, without feeling rushed or having to wait too long. The open kitchen had a clean feel to it. The tables were spaced out enough that I didn't have to worry about the people next to me. Even my husband, who I thought didn't like subtle flavors, was satisfied. The sashimi, tempura, Omi beef, all served in small portions, left me completely satisfied. I was able to enjoy a leisurely meal while looking out at the Togetsukyo Bridge (Katsura River). I would like to visit again.

On this day, there was only one option for a 7,700 yen course menu. The service was good, and we enjoyed delicious food while overlooking the Katsura River until the sun went down. We were even escorted outside the restaurant when we left. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I didn't have high expectations because it's a tourist spot, but it turned out to be a really delicious and lovely restaurant.
