ヒノッチ
Tonight's first party is at this French restaurant. I've been here for lunch a few times, but it's my first time for dinner, so I'm excited! We were guided to the back of the restaurant, which has a calm atmosphere. There is also a counter at the back where you can use it as a bar. So, let's start with a toast!
- Macon-Villages, draft beer (680 yen)
Wow, it's a bit expensive but this draft beer is delicious! The white wine was chosen by Saari and it seems to cost around 3,500 yen. And the appetizers that first came out are really good.
- Appetizers (for 3 people)
They are all good to nibble on. And then, Ponkichi arrived, and at the same time, the carpaccio appeared.
- Octopus from Setoda, Hiroshima (1320 yen)... for some reason, one more... (laughs).
- Flounder from Setoda, Hiroshima (1420 yen)
We ordered two dishes each, but with 9 people, I thought we would only get a little bit of each. However, the portion of one dish was quite substantial. The sauces were subtly different, and both were freshly delivered from Hiroshima this morning and delicious!
- Fish & Chips with XO sauce mayonnaise (1260 yen)
Surprisingly, this "fish" is conger eel. The crispy batter and fluffy conger eel with spicy mayonnaise dip were incredibly delicious! And the next dish was the most impactful today!
- Charcuterie (1680 yen)
Wow, this is amazing! A meat-filled hors d'oeuvre with all my favorite meats! The Pork Kintaro also said, "If this was the first dish, you would have felt even more impact." And as we were getting excited talking about old Hyannis, the last dish arrived!
- Roast Kyoto chicken with rosemary and garlic flavor (1310 yen)
This is incredibly tasty!! Saari even sucked on the bones (laughs). Well, let's move on to the second party now. I'd like to try pork and duck next time. Thank you for the meal!!
