It is a locally owned restaurant opened by former classmates. I found out about it through several gourmet websites in Kyoto, and thought it was rare to find a place serving fish & chips in Kyoto. It is run by two young men. I contacted them in advance through SNS, so they recognized me right away when I arrived. You can choose between salmon or cod for the fish fry, and they use black beer in the batter. The chips were delicious too, with a fluffy texture. I will definitely find another chance to go back and try their evening bar menu as well.
