I had been curious for a while, but finally got to visit because they are closed on weekends and holidays. The staff were very friendly, and I definitely want to visit again. The Danish bread was especially delicious, so it's a definite repeat for my usual breakfast. I will be back!

I went around 11 am on a regular weekday. Inside the store, there were various types of sweet buns, savory buns, and sandwiches. I chose a Florentine and a Mont Blanc cream bun. The Florentine had a sticky texture, with plenty of sliced almonds on top and a layer of caramel on the bottom. The caramel wasn't too dark, so it didn't have a strong bitter taste. The middle part of the bun was moist and cookie-like. The Mont Blanc cream bun had a generous amount of cream on top, with a slightly moist pastry similar to the apple pie in the supermarket's sweet buns. Both were reasonably priced. I wonder if they have more variety in the morning?

Recently, for some reason, I sometimes pass by this cafe called "Hananoie" on the old road. I was curious about it, but I always skipped it. I visited around 1 pm on a weekday. There were only two sandwiches left, one egg sandwich and one chicken cutlet sandwich. They seemed to be in half size, so I bought one for 125 yen. It was quite delicious. The sign outside the store gave the impression of drinking coffee while eating sandwiches at the counter. In reality, the sandwiches were almost sold out by lunchtime, and there were probably pre-packaged bread on display. The counter seemed to be more like a storage area. The store has been around for 40 years. Keep up the good work.

Located about a 2-minute walk from Kintetsu Okubo Station in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture. Right in front of the shop is the Okubo Garrison. They sell freshly baked bread that can be eaten on the spot, with 2-3 seats available. They don't have a lot of bread, so they might sell out by early afternoon. Today, I tried the classic spicy curry donut for 120 yen. The outside was crispy while the inside was moist, with plenty of filling and quite delicious. Pairing this with a cafe au lait could make for a good breakfast. It would be nice if they had some unique "killer" menu items that you can only find at this shop.

The store opens at 6 am. According to the staff, many people buy bread on their way to work, so when I visited around 8:30 am, some items were already sold out. It's not a fancy bakery, but a local one where you can get a satisfying meal regardless of your age. The prices are reasonable, so you won't have to worry about your wallet when shopping here. It's a great place for students. However, they close around 2 pm once they sell out. If you're looking for a trendy or gourmet bakery, this might not be the place for you, but personally, I think it's a bakery where you can have a long-lasting relationship.

The store is open from 6 am, which is very convenient. There are a few small counter seats for about two people, which is nice. The variety of bread is limited, but it makes choosing easier. The red bean paste and cream sandwich seems appealing, but I haven't bought it yet. The donuts are a bit oily, but the fluffy texture makes them irresistible. I like the spicy curry donut. The taste is simple and comforting. I enjoy buying two breads in the morning and having them placed in a small palm-sized bag. The staff's "have a nice day" warms the heart.
