I went there on weekday nights and Sunday nights, and both times I felt that there were many locals and I could enjoy a relaxing atmosphere. They have a wide variety of wines and they let you choose based on your preferences, which is delicious. The dishes were just the right size and price, and it was nice that they served them divided by the number of people.

This Italian restaurant has a nice atmosphere. They offer delicious wines, and you can trust their selection. The menu is not extensive, but they have a good balance of appetizers, second courses, and main dishes. It's a great place to enjoy a leisurely dinner. I think it's more suited for adults.

Celebrating the birth of Chibi-chan. What Italian dish do you want? "Prosciutto" and "Octopus" confirmed. So, make a reservation at the restaurant, and pre-order. "Prosciutto, octopus dish" and a small cake. The owner kindly accepted the reservation and order, and we looked forward to the visit on the day. We arrived at 6:00, the first ones to enter. The atmosphere is nice. Besides the two items we pre-ordered, we also ordered the classic pasta and pizza. And the white wine recommended by the owner's wife. The prosciutto looks amazing. What is this? Is there ham in this color? Chibi-chan's first bite, "So delicious!" Excited. Thank goodness. I also took a bite, "Delicious." I've never had anything like this before. It's amazing. The wine goes well with it. Next is the "Octopus Carpaccio," soft and not too oily, delicious. The pasta and pizza were also delicious. It was a delicious and enjoyable birthday celebration. Thank you. I definitely want to come back to this restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

My wife and I walked in without a reservation. We ordered beer, carpaccio, garlic shrimp, pasta, and taliata. We felt like we wanted a little more after the carpaccio and garlic shrimp, so we ordered another appetizer. The food was prepared quickly, but the seasoning was excellent. The pasta and taliata that followed were also outstanding. The alcohol was explained well, and all the dishes had amazing flavors. We were very satisfied with the food, drinks, and service!

Introduced to this restaurant by an acquaintance... My partner dislikes tomatoes, so we had never been to an Italian restaurant before. Even my tomato-hating husband wants to come back to this place... Everything we eat is delicious, and they do their best to accommodate my picky requests (although I do make them in advance, not on the day). Everything is perfect... except for one thing - the chef cooks alone, so the serving time can be a bit slow... We don't live in Kyoto, so we have to be mindful of the time when taking the train back. Sometimes we stay in Kyoto just to eat at Anchovy-san. That's how much we love this place٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ During peach season, I recommend the peach pasta.

My wife and I decided to go out for lunch somewhere and ended up at this restaurant. They had a lunch menu with pasta, risotto, and pizza options. We ordered the pasta with anchovy sauce and lemon. The restaurant was a comfortable size with about 7 tables and 4 other groups of customers. The dishes seemed to come out in no particular order, so our pasta arrived quickly while tomato-based dishes were served later. The pasta was delicious with a good quality oil and anchovy flavor. The portion size was just right for a lunch with an appetizer included, but if you only ordered the pasta, it might not be filling enough.

For the second party, we changed the genre completely to Italian. I chose a restaurant that I have been visiting for quite some time. The atmosphere is nice, and the food (especially the pizza!) is delicious. Takapa, who joined us from here, arrived and we toasted with wine! Marvasia Bianca '05 (3120 yen), Cantine Regie, Negro Amaro '04 (3120 yen) of course, the wine is the usual set of red, white, and sparkling! Now, let's take a look at the food. It's funny, even though I was full, when the restaurant changes, I can eat again. First, I tried the Sicilian oil and salt oysters (900 yen) and they were delicious! The colors were beautiful and they went well with the dry Prosecco. Next, I had the angulas and mushroom ajillo (900 yen) which was amazing! This might be the first time I've had angulas in ajillo. The texture was perfect and fluffy. Then, we had Rosso Masieri '06 (4550 yen) and the rustic-style pate made of white liver and pig cheeks (780 yen). This pate was also delicious. There are no disappointments here. Finally, it's time to finish off with this classic dish! The bacon thick-cut orthodox pizza with soft-boiled egg Bismarck style (1360 yen) and the Gorgonzola cheese pizza (1570 yen) were both incredibly delicious! Especially the Gorgonzola one, it was extremely tasty. The contrast between the melted rich cheese and the slightly burnt flavors was exquisite. The crispy yet chewy crust was also incredibly tasty! It's been a while since I visited this restaurant, but it's still a great place! For more details, visit >http://suiyo2.blog102.fc2.com/blog-entry-562.html

I prefer pasta over pizza, but the pizza here is delicious! The crust is not too thick or too crispy, and the toppings have a strong flavor. I recommend the anchovy pizza. The sangria, made with a recipe passed down from Spanish people, is also delicious - it's almost like juice! Even though I don't like the bitterness of red wine, this one is fruity and doesn't taste like wine at all. But it still gets you drunk, so there must be wine in it (laughs). Even people who don't like alcohol can drink it easily, so I always order it in a decanter. The pasta is consistently good, never disappointing. The cold pasta in summer with the sweetness and acidity of tomatoes was especially delicious. The service is just right, not too intrusive but attentive. The restaurant is stylish and convenient, open late. I revisited in March 2009 and still highly recommend it. Unfortunately, I was too busy eating to remember to take a picture of the pizza. My favorite thick-cut bacon pizza wasn't available, so I ordered a simple Margherita. It was loaded with cherry tomatoes and had flavorful cheese, making it a very juicy pizza. I liked it because I love tomatoes, but it's a bit different from the typical Margherita.

A cozy Italian cafe with cute decor like high ceilings, pink walls, and rustic Italian farmhouse objects. The food is delicious, especially the pizza, pasta, and affordable, tasty parfaits. The parfaits may not be flashy but they fit the stylish atmosphere perfectly.

I often visit this restaurant because it's in my neighborhood and I want to have a safe option for eating out. The young-looking owner is always smiling and working hard. The restaurant has been open for a long time, so I think they have a lot of loyal customers. I usually order wine or beer and a variety of dishes like pasta and thick-crust pizza, which are particularly delicious. While I don't feel extremely impressed by the food, I never leave disappointed. It's a reliable restaurant with a solid foundation.

A few minutes' walk from Eizan Dentetsu Mototanaka Station, there is an Italian cafe. It features large windows facing Higashioji Street. The interior is small but has a cute atmosphere. We ordered the pasta lunch set and the pizza lunch set. You can choose from several types of pasta and pizza. My partner also ordered the creme brulee. The brulee had a hard surface rather than a crispy one, and my partner seemed dissatisfied as there was more surface than cream. Overall, the taste of the dishes was okay. It's a good place for a casual meal.

This is located near the intersection of Higashioji Street and Mikage Street, heading north just after crossing the railway tracks. It's across the street from places like Didi, Takeria Pachanga, and Szechuan Tei. The interior of the restaurant is not too small, but the tables are spaced out, so there aren't many seats. Despite being called a cafe, they turned away customers who only wanted tea, so be aware of that. However, it may have been due to the late hour and last order policies. The food was not particularly unique, with standard pasta and pizza options priced around 1,000 yen. The pizza crust was slightly thicker than usual, which was a bit unusual. We ordered Puttanesca, Genovese, and Mushroom pizzas. The taste was okay overall, with the Genovese being a bit lacking. In terms of portion size, it was standard for this type of restaurant, but I found it a bit lacking. The service was average, but I was surprised by the spiciness of the chili pepper container. It was served in a cappuccino cup with a spoon, and the chili pepper was quite spicy. I had assumed it would be less spicy, so it was a bit of a shock. Overall, it wasn't bad, but it didn't leave a great impression. The atmosphere was nice though, so it might be good for a date.

I often use this place for lunch. They offer a lunch menu during the day, and I usually choose from there. I have been here a few times at night with a few friends, but it's a bit pricey. For lunch, I really like the minced meat doria, and I always order that. They used to have a vegetable doria which I liked even more, as it had a half raw egg on top that was creamy and delicious. Sometimes the egg is a bit overcooked and not as runny, but it's still tasty. The staff at the restaurant are very friendly and nice.

This is a restaurant that embodies the already established image of Italian cuisine in Japan. There are no particularly original or unusual menu items, so you won't feel disappointed. The scent of garlic in the air may appeal to some and not to others. Personally, I found the presence of minced meat in the Bolognese a bit much, but it was tasty. It's also nice that you can choose the size (diameter) of the long pasta.

It is an Italian restaurant, but not a fancy place where you have to be on your best behavior. It's more like a casual Italian restaurant and cafe. I recommend the anchovy pizza (a bit cliché, but still good). I tried three different types of spaghetti, but they were just average in taste (not bad though). The restaurant is small, and on the day I went, there were surprisingly noisy groups of elderly people and families with young children, so I couldn't fully enjoy the food. But if you're looking for a tasty, casual pizza, I highly recommend this place. The pizzas were around 1000 yen each.

It's a cafe and Italian restaurant hybrid kind of place. They are open until 11pm, so I went there as a second stop. The pizza looked so delicious that I ordered the "5 kinds of mushrooms and black pepper pizza". The crust was soft and lightly baked, with a very light taste. Instead of Tabasco, they provide crushed red pepper flakes with the pizza. There are two sizes available, but the larger one is enough for two or more people. They also have a variety of Italian dishes like pasta and risotto. They offer desserts and coffee as well, but there are more Italian food options than cafe items. The interior is small, with about 5 tables for 4 people each. There is a trendy bar on the second floor that is open until 2am (I'm not sure if it's related to Anchovy Cafe... but the restroom is shared), so it might be nice to move upstairs after Anchovy Cafe.

I recently realized why I don't get excited about cafe food. It's because even though there is some effort put into it, the dishes are at a level that you could probably make yourself. Even if attention is paid to the ingredients and cooking methods, if there is still an amateurish feel, those who enjoy cooking to some extent (not necessarily skilled) may not appreciate it. In that sense, Anchove Cafe had a menu setting more similar to a restaurant than a cafe, so I decided to give it a try. On the other hand, it might take some determination to visit the cafe just for coffee. The lunch options were either a single item for 880 yen or a course for 1300 yen, which includes appetizer, dessert, and a post-meal drink. I was swayed by the smoked salmon appetizer and chose the 1300 yen option. However, personally, I could have done without the dessert, so I would appreciate it if there were more detailed pricing options, such as adding just coffee or just an appetizer to the main course. It's difficult to make a definitive judgment on the cooking skills based solely on choosing a doria as the main dish. I would like to try a different dish, preferably for dinner (although I feel dining alone at night might be challenging), and reevaluate the food.

It's a modest-looking restaurant loved by locals for serving delicious food. Despite being named "Cafe," it's more of a place to enjoy a meal rather than just snacks. It's perfect for casually enjoying Italian cuisine with close friends. I recommend the Margherita pizza and Carbonara pasta. For dessert, definitely try the "Drowning Ice Cream" - it's a must-try! It's a simple dessert of vanilla ice cream topped with plenty of espresso and sprinkled with nuts, but it's really addictive.
