On November 10, 2022, I went to a restaurant in Fukuchiyama, YOC. I tried the Marufuku Tamago Cha-han Yakisoba and Oden. The customer next to me ordered the Tamago Cha-han, which caught my attention. Not only the taste but also the skillful cooking on the iron plate intrigued me. I couldn't resist ordering it again. Even though I had already eaten the Yakisoba and Oden, I finished it all in one go. It was delicious. Each grain of rice in the Cha-han was evenly coated with flavor, wrapped in egg. It was really tasty. Thank you for the meal.

There is some time before catching the limited express train. How about quickly grabbing a drink and something to eat before heading back? Hmm... where should we go? Oh, I remember there was an okonomiyaki restaurant near Starbucks. Let's have some okonomiyaki and beer. So, let's walk as usual. Tektuk, tektuk, tektuk. I wonder if the restaurant is open. As I arrive at the front of the shop... the lights were on. Yes! We can eat here! I go inside and look at the menu. There are various options. I decide to get the mixed okonomiyaki, which has squid, pork, egg, and soba. While waiting for the okonomiyaki, how about having a beer? They serve Asahi here too. I have never seen any other beer than Asahi in Fukuchiyama. Come on, Kirin! I feel like cheering for them. After a short wait, the okonomiyaki is served. Oh, they serve it on a plate... well, there is no hot plate in front of me. It's a bit disappointing that I can't eat it while it's piping hot. The okonomiyaki is a thin type, easy to eat as it's pre-cut. The taste was just normal, but it was delicious. It was a good accompaniment to the beer. Looking at the menu, there are various side dishes too. It seems like a nice place to have a drink with some side dishes. I'll have to come back when I have time!

A friendly mother and a shy handsome older brother cook okonomiyaki for customers. The atmosphere is lively with families, people coming back from work, and baseball teammates in their uniforms. The okonomiyaki is delicious, especially the Tokunoshin (rolled with eggs, pork slices, bean sprouts, and fish cake). Another recommended dish is the Japanese-style ramen, with soba noodles grilled on a hot plate and served in a light but flavorful soup. The only request is for the mayonnaise container to be smaller for easier topping. It looks appetizing but is too big.
