Yakiniku set meal, small rice 850 yen ☆ Today's lunch ♫ Visited after 1 pm. The restaurant is located in a residential area in Joyo City. There is a parking lot for about 3 cars a little north of the restaurant. It's okay to go by car. Inside the restaurant, there are 4-seat tables x 3, counter seats surrounding the kitchen x 6, and there is also space on the 2nd floor for banquets. The restaurant seems to be loved by local people, and the regular customers were almost full of the restaurant. It seems to be run by a kind elderly man and a mother. The elderly man has a very gentle way of speaking and a lovely smile. The mother is also busy and efficient with her work. When you sit at the counter, they will place a cold towel and a bottle of frozen barley tea in front of you! Cold barley tea on a hot day is delightful ♡ However, a plastic bottle though ~ ~ www But I like this kind of feeling ♡ The menu is diverse, with noodles, set meals, Western food, rice bowls, curry, and various other dishes. I was torn between options, but I ordered the yakiniku set meal. I ordered a small amount of rice. Then, the mother started to move quickly. Watching her, it seems that she is in charge of grilling and frying. She works efficiently without wasting time, cooking the orders simultaneously. The yakiniku set meal arrived in no time! It was so fast, maybe it took only 5 minutes! The yakiniku set meal consists of thick beef belly meat, green peppers, and onions mixed with a sweet sauce. After marinating with salt and pepper, plenty of sake is sprinkled while stir-frying, then a little ketchup is added as a hidden flavor. Finally, the sauce is added to complete the dish. The taste is perfect for rice with its richness and sweetness! The meat is not particularly tender, but the more you chew, the more the flavor of the sauce oozes out, and it becomes quite addictive. The macaroni potato salad that came with it was simply delicious ♡ The cucumber vinegar side dish was also nice! The miso soup with plenty of ingredients and bonito dashi was quite tasty. The portion was decent, so I was satisfied with the meal. I thought the price was a bit high, but they kindly deducted 50 yen for the rice portion from the usual 900 yen price. It's quite common for restaurants to keep the same price, so it was a nice gesture. It was a homey restaurant with an atmosphere loved by local people! I would like to visit again! \̏(º̻∇º̻)/̋
