Located slightly north of Yasaka Shrine, near Gion Station, this restaurant has a clean interior and a welcoming atmosphere for solo diners, groups, and families. The spacious restaurant has a counter with partitions for each seat, as well as several 4-person tables. I chose the "Yokubari Lunch" set menu, which includes fried chicken, gyoza, and rice, and opted for a small portion of soy sauce ramen. The ramen had rich pork fat, straight thin noodles, plenty of green onions, a thin slice of chashu pork, a half-boiled seasoned egg, and bamboo shoots as toppings. The flavorful soup paired well with the noodles, and the dish was satisfying. The "Yokubari Lunch" set also came with 3 pan-fried gyoza, 2 pieces of fried chicken, and a generous serving of rice. The gyoza were served with various condiments, and the fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The rice, made with selected rice from Yaezakura, was tasty. Overall, I was pleased with the meal and would like to try other ramen options in the future. The restaurant also offers discounts for students and provides amenities like disposable hand towels, paper napkins, aprons, and hair ties. They serve complimentary cold tea, but you can request hot tea or cold water as well. They also have a children's ramen menu available. Payment is by cash only as electronic money is not accepted.
