千本桜はんひち
Last month, I helped my daughter-in-law with her work, which kept me very busy. On this particular day, it was the first day, so my daughter, my friend, and I went out for dinner at Nishitomiya. I arrived a little early because I wanted to drink beer, so I headed to Sanjo Street. I usually drive, so I only have soft drinks, but today I can drink in the city of Kyoto! The beer at Nishitomiya is always sparkling clean, and I heard that the server is hard to maintain, but it's incredibly delicious! I had a small size of Solachi for 500 yen, which had a refreshing and soft foam, very delicious. The second glass was a black beer, a bit heavier in taste, but the delicious foam stands out. After that, we had dinner at a nearby restaurant, drank wine with four people, and decided to have a little more to drink. We ended the night with a Laphroaig highball, accompanied by canelé bought from Nishitomiya. I'm sorry for bringing it in, but the master is very generous! My daughter was tired from work and only had water. The three of us had a great time. After just one drink, we took the subway to Higashiyama, which was close to the hotel, and went to bed immediately. We visited exhibitions, attended rehearsals, parked the car in a cheap coin parking in Nijo, and went for the usual check-up and dry cleaning. When we went out into the city, it was a busy, busy day. My friend said I looked energetic, but I was already exhausted.
