Aji sashimi at the familiar Akanoren. It feels like it's been a while since I last ate aji sashimi. I used to make it a lot when I lived alone - it was delicious with the ginger and garlic paste from a tube, bringing back fond memories. The food at Akachochin is always really tasty. On this day, we also had whale bacon, young bamboo shoots, and mozuku vinegar. Writing about it now makes me want to go back again. Thank you for the delicious meal.
My favorite local Akachochin in Uji, Kyoto. I visit this place every three months because it's cost-effective and I love it. The oden here is particularly good, starting around December. The broth is so good, especially with the beef tendons and daikon radish. On this day, we had mentaiko, sazae-yaki, kasujiru, and chanja-maki. No matter what you order, it's always delicious here. It may be hard to go with a large group, but it's a great place to relax and have a drink with a small group. Thank you for the meal.
My favorite local Akachochin in Uji, Kyoto. The restaurant is run by two bald brothers, and even though they may look tough, they are really friendly and serve excellent food. I visit this place every three months because the cost performance is great. On this day, we had skewered heart, thigh, and duck with green onion, as well as sashimi of saury. Everything we ordered was delicious. They also serve blowfish, chinook salmon fin sake, and seasonal cold sake. Starting from mid-November, they serve oden, which is incredibly delicious. They also have live fish tanks, so the sashimi is fresh and tasty. Thank you for the meal!
