Come to Nishijin "Kefustay&lounge" for lunch! It's a great place to enjoy a meal. I've been busy lately and haven't had time to go out for lunch during work, so I decided to go for a solo lunch on my day off. This time, I headed to "KefuStay&Lounge," a guesthouse and lounge in Nishijin. I've stayed here before when work ran late and had breakfast, but this was my first time having lunch here. The lobby/lounge is a relaxing space. You order at the cash register. The lunch menu has a variety of options, making it hard to choose. I was tempted by the spaghetti, curry, and Japanese set meals, but I went with the recommended sandwich. The daily sandwich set for 1200 yen includes a sandwich, potato, soup, dessert, and drink. The daily sandwich was a fried chicken & avocado cream cheese dog. The fried chicken was seasoned with Cajun spices and cut into chunks. It was creamy and rich with cream cheese and avocado slices. The potato wedges with homemade ketchup were delicious. The sweet potato soup was incredibly rich and creamy, highlighting the natural sweetness of the ingredients. For dessert, there was hojicha pudding, and I chose hot hojicha tea for my drink. Ah, what a great lunchtime. These moments are essential in life.

This was my second visit to this cafe. I couldn't forget the cheesecake I had when they were a vendor at an event before, so I decided to visit their actual store. The cafe is located in a hotel and offers breakfast to dinner options. They even have a terrace seating area. I ordered the luxurious cheesecake and roasted green tea shake. The cheesecake was rich and dense, made with a variety of cheeses that cheese lovers will enjoy. The shake had a rich milk flavor that paired well with the gentle taste of roasted green tea. They also offer toast for breakfast and plate menus for lunch, all of which are stylish and delicious. The hotel itself looks inviting, so I would like to stay there someday.
