I visited the restaurant a few times, and a friend from work who saw my posts said, "I want to go too!" so we went together! The moody atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice. When we sat down, we saw a sign that said "1 free drink with Instagram follow"! That's amazing and made me really happy. They said, "I'll leave the menu choice up to you," so we decided to try the "Assorted Black Wagyu Beef Meat Stairs" for 1,890 yen per person. The luxurious stairs were beautifully arranged with meat and cute flowers on each step. The lower steps had tender meat, and as we moved up, the meat became fattier. Just by holding the premium black Wagyu thigh, you could tell how tender it was. The rib meat was juicy with a sweet flavor bursting out. The sirloin was tender and made you feel light and fluffy. The upper rib had a rich fat that added excitement. The triangular belly had a meaty soup that was delicious. Each type of meat had its own unique flavor and was enjoyable. Both of us liked the "Upper Rib" (1,480 yen) so much that we ordered more! We also tried the "Ichibo" (1,780 yen) separately. It had a good chew to it, and tasted great with wasabi. However, the recommended meat on the stairs is worth trying as well. We also had the "Chijimi" (560 yen), which was thin and crispy. Even though I prefer chewy Chijimi, this crispy version was delicious. The "Toro Rare Meat Sushi" was so melt-in-your-mouth, the name "Toro" was truly fitting. Overall, it was a great experience. It cost around 5,000 yen per person, which was surprisingly affordable for black Wagyu beef. The lunchtime special of the meat stairs is a great deal, so I recommend going for lunch if you can.

Yakiniku bar located near Shijo Takakura and Daimaru Kyoto, on the first floor of a building making it easy to enter. Visited in the evening with a friend. The interior is long and narrow with table and counter seats, totaling 40 seats. The walls are decorated with views of Florence, creating an Italian bar-like atmosphere. We ordered the popular Takumi course (¥4400 x2), draft beer (¥649), and oolong tea (¥275) from the four set menus available. The Takumi course included namul, kimchi, green salad, pork tongue (with lemon), wagyu hormone hoso, meat staircase assortment, chishana greens, meat seared sushi or seared marbled wagyu dashi chazuke, sanagibara, ichibo, and dessert. The meat staircase assortment was arranged from light to rich flavors, including harami, momo, kalbi, top sirloin, and top kalbi. It is recommended to start from the bottom. The staff suggested sandwiching the top sirloin or top kalbi with bread. By the time we finished the meat staircase assortment, we were still able to eat more, but the set menu was satisfying. The food was delicious. Payment can be made with PayPay. Will definitely come back.

I made a lunch reservation for Saturday and arrived a little after 2 pm, so there were hardly any people inside the restaurant. The quality of the meat is decent, but I was a bit disappointed that all the beef tongue in the lunch set was actually pork tongue. There weren't many additional options available, so I don't think I will visit this restaurant again for a second time.

From opening, the owner was working alone for the first hour. Despite being short-staffed, the service was quick and all the dishes were delicious! Here are some of the highlights: Parmigiano Yukke - a must-try for cheese lovers, a addictive dish! The meat, egg yolk, and cheese all complement each other perfectly! Namul Assortment - all 5 varieties were delicious... radish, carrot, bean sprouts, spinach, and zenmai, each had a unique and delicious flavor. Raw Senmai - the western-style sauce was refreshing and very tasty. Grache Assortment (Meat Stairs) - each type of meat was incredibly delicious and the sizes were easy for women to eat. The meat was great, but the real standout was the bread and tomato sauce side dish... incredibly delicious! The combination of meat, sauce, and bread was amazing! Overall, everything we tried was delicious. If I have the chance to eat yakiniku again, I would love to come back to this place.

It was great to be able to eat various types of meat such as harami, sirloin, and pork belly. The variety of meats and their flavors were delicious. Starting with beer and meat, then finishing with rice was just the right amount for a middle-aged guy in his 40s. It was nice to be able to go alone easily, but next time I want to bring friends along.

The Apple Kyoto flagship store is located right off the main street, making it easy to find and explain to others for a meeting spot. The store layout is more like a family restaurant than a yakiniku restaurant. The staff are friendly, but the meat was a bit frozen. Overall, I would give it one star less for that.

I visited around 1pm on a weekday. I was seated promptly and ordered the roast beef bowl. It was quite busy and almost full, so I understand why it took a while for the food to be served. The sauce on the roast beef bowl was tasty, but the beef itself was not very flavorful. However, I appreciated that it had a lot of vegetables in it.
I used it for lunch. I had meat sushi lunch, roast beef balls, and black wagyu beef lunch! The meat was sweet, tender, and very delicious! I ordered a regular size rice, but the meat was so delicious that I wanted a little more (laughs) Thank you for the meal~

Today, I went to a yakiniku restaurant near Daimaru Kyoto on Shijo for lunch.
Ittetsu Grazie is a popular restaurant known for using high-quality wagyu beef for their yakiniku. I have ordered takeout from them before. I was seated at the counter, where empty wine glasses were neatly arranged, creating a lovely atmosphere.
Looking at the menu, I saw lunch options priced around a thousand yen, including rice dishes, meat sushi, and yakiniku sets.
I ordered the Roast Beef Bowl set, which came with a wakame seaweed soup. I started by tasting the soup, which was delicious. The Roast Beef Bowl was generously topped with roast beef, almost hiding the rice underneath. A raw egg yolk was placed on top, which mixed well with the beef when I broke it. The meat was tender and incredibly tasty. The light and refreshing sauce complemented the beef well. The combination of rich egg yolk and meat was also excellent. Adding wasabi enhanced the flavors even more.
I enjoyed the meal, with plenty of vegetables adding a nice balance to the meat-heavy dish.

I visited the restaurant on a weekday between 5pm and 7pm. My friend and I ordered the Takumi course. We started with a salad and namul, followed by horumon and tongue. The tongue was frozen solid, so we let it thaw for a bit. The salad and namul were delicious, and the kimchi had a nice sweet flavor that I enjoyed. The horumon, which I think was hoso, was sweet and easy to eat, very tasty. The tongue was average, sliced about as thick as two pieces of the all-you-can-eat option. It was okay. Later, the staircase dish was brought out. It was smaller than I expected, and while it was tasty, the small portion left me unsatisfied. Next came the meat sushi, with akami and toro, but I didn't feel the soy sauce paired well with it. The meat sushi itself was good, but I was a bit disappointed. Finally, we had ichibo and sankaku bara. The ichibo was large, with a good balance of fat and lean meat, tender and the most delicious. The sankaku bara had a lot of fat but wasn't overpowering, easy to eat and tasty. For dessert, we could choose from three types of ice cream or the raw chocolate, which I chose. It arrived frozen and hard like ice cream, but after a short wait, it softened and melted in my mouth, very delicious. Without rice, the portion for two people in the photo cost 4400 yen per person, which I found a bit expensive.

I wandered around Yakiniku Shijo and felt like eating grilled meat. I saw that same-day reservations were possible, so I decided to visit directly. Upon entering, I was greeted with disinfection and temperature checks. The seating arrangement was spaced out for COVID-19 prevention. I ordered the recommended Gracce assorted platter, seared lean meat sushi, fatty tuna sushi, beef tongue sushi, pot-marinated harami, large seared loin, maruchou, beef tongue sashimi, 3 types of hormone, Gracce salad, stone bibimbap, draft beer, mango juice, and rice. The mini cabbage roll appetizer was delicious with garlic-infused tomato sauce. The Gracce salad had roast beef in it. The Gracce assorted platter included various cuts of wagyu beef, which were tasty but portion sizes were a bit small for the price. The large seared loin was enjoyed with sauce and raw egg. The beef tongue sashimi was affordable and tasty. The meat sushi was good, although the rice portion was small. The maruchou was delicious. The 3 types of hormone were tasty but lacked in portion size. Some of the meat seemed to be slightly frozen and not fully thawed, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the meal was enjoyable. Thank you for the feast.

I wanted to eat meat sushi so I visited this place! I'm lazy, so I usually don't write reviews, but this place was so good that I decided to write one after a long time! (laughs) The drinks are reasonably priced and they have a variety of non-alcoholic options, which is great. And the meat sushi! It was reasonably priced and delicious! I ended up eating four pieces by myself! They provide soy sauce and wasabi for yakiniku as condiments, so I enjoyed the meat sushi with wasabi as well. It was so delicious, I felt happy. Yakiniku was not my main focus, so I only ordered tongue and skirt meat, but they were also quite tasty. The taste was worth the price. I also tried the raw beef intestine, but since everything was affordable, I managed to control myself from ordering too much (laughs). I am currently on a diet, so I was happy that the complimentary tea at this restaurant was rooibos tea. The female staff members provided attentive service, which made me happy. I will definitely come back for more meat sushi and yakiniku next time! ♡

Visited in December 2020. At the time of posting, the restaurant had a rating of 3.45 on Tabelog (from 54 reviews). I heard that the lunch menu had been upgraded since my last visit, so I decided to revisit after a long time. The menu with photos displayed outside the restaurant makes it easy to see what kind of lunch they offer. I saw in the photos that there is an option for a free large serving or a +100 yen special serving, although the staff did not mention this to me. When I was seated at the counter, I was asked if I wanted warm tea or water, and I chose tea. I ordered the "Black Wagyu Rib Roast Beef Toro Don" as planned. First, a salad with sesame dressing and namul, along with the main dish in a tiered box and dashi broth, were brought to me. I poured some wasabi soy sauce over the beef and enjoyed it. The marbled beef had a rich flavor and the quality fat melted in my mouth. The wasabi added a nice kick to it. Towards the end, I tried eating it with the dashi broth like ochazuke, but I think I prefer it with wasabi soy sauce. The large serving of rice was free, but considering the ratio with the beef, the regular serving might have been enough. Overall, it was a delicious beef toro don that makes me want to come back again. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant around 11:30 on Saturday afternoon. There was one group of customers before me.
- Ladies' Lunch Set: ¥980
- Wagyu Kalbi: It was tender and delicious, but a bit difficult to chew.
- Wagyu Momo: Firm texture and flavorful.
- Harami: Tender with a wild taste, slightly metallic.
- Salad: Tasty with sesame dressing, but would have been better without dressing to match the meat.
- Side dish: Bean sprout namul, well-seasoned and delicious.
- Soup: Had a bit of onion and colorful rice crackers. It was okay when hot, but not as good when it cooled down.
- Rice: Chose a small 150g portion, not freshly cooked.
- Drink: Chose iced herb tea, looked like iced tea.
- Dessert: Chose matcha ice cream.
- Mini Beef Stew: ¥150, delicious with a fluffy bread roll.

Visited on September 26, 2020. The restaurant is located on the west side, down from Takakura Nishiki. We visited the restaurant right when it opened. The restaurant has table seating, booth seating, and counter seating. We were seated at a table. The menu is very reasonably priced. This time, I enjoyed the Special Select Meat Staircase Lunch, while my wife had the Volume Yakiniku Lunch. The Special Select Meat Staircase Lunch includes:
- Premium Japanese top sirloin
- Premium Japanese top kalbi
- Rare Japanese beef cut
- Tongue
- Harami (skirt steak)
- Salad
- Soup
- Bean sprout namul
- Rice (I opted for extra rice)
The Volume Lunch includes:
- Japanese beef kalbi
- Harami
- Chicken thigh
- Salad
- Soup
- Bean sprout namul
- Rice
The meat staircase is probably Instagram-worthy, although I personally did not post it. The meat is delicious. Considering the price, I am satisfied with what we got for lunch. My wife couldn't finish all the meat, so I gladly helped out. I always feel like eating meat at regular intervals. The yakiniku sauce is excellent, allowing us to fully enjoy the delicious meat. We had a leisurely lunch on a Saturday. It seems you can make reservations even for lunchtime. It might be a good idea to make a reservation before visiting. Thank you for the delicious meat.

I visited Ittetsu Grache in Karasuma, Kyoto for the first time! It was about a 5-minute walk from Karasuma Station. I went there to celebrate my friend's birthday. The menu we ordered today included: - Tan salt for 1,320 yen - Grache assorted plate for 1,749 yen - Toro yukke-style rolled sushi (1 piece) for 528 yen - Seared red meat sushi (1 piece) for 528 yen - Seared toro meat sushi (1 piece) for 561 yen - Rare cheek meat sushi (1 piece) for 374 yen - Toro rare sushi (1 piece) for 528 yen. We ordered more items but I forgot to take photos. Usually at a yakiniku restaurant, we would order a course menu, but this time I wanted my friend to enjoy their favorite dishes a la carte. The restaurant had both table and counter seats, and it was spacious and open. The meat sushi was delicious, with a variety of options to try, so I recommend going with a larger group. I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal!

I love yakiniku restaurants, but many of them are small and have seats like round chairs, which can be tough for older or overweight people. However, this place has a slightly trendy vibe, and the chairs are comfortable. The presentation of the meat is nice, but the cost performance might be a bit lacking. The quality of the meat itself seems good. They offer a good selection of wines at reasonable prices, and the taste is decent. Personally, I wish the stone bibimbap was hotter with a bit more crispy rice at the bottom. It's a bit disappointing when the egg is slightly undercooked due to the heat not being high enough. Overall, aside from the ambiance, it's an average yakiniku restaurant.

I visited the restaurant around 9 pm when it seemed less crowded. The interior had a counter and partitioned table seats, making it convenient for small groups of 4-5 people. I started with a beer and ordered the beef tongue sashimi, low-temperature cooked meat sushi, and a set with various rare cuts. The beef tongue sashimi was a bit watery, lacking in flavor, but the sauce helped. The low-temperature cooked meat sushi seemed overcooked, lacking in texture and flavor. The set with various cuts was exciting for women, but the meat was a bit tough with lots of sinew, not the melt-in-your-mouth fatty texture I was hoping for. Despite the slight disappointment, the prices were reasonable and the menu was diverse. Thank you for the meal!

A few minutes walk from Karasuma Station and Shijo Station. Today I had lunch here. The restaurant has counter seats and table seats, and specializes in meat dishes. I ordered the voluminous lunch set. Rice can be served in a large portion for free, but I chose a regular size. Let's dig in! The meat included pork belly, chicken, harami (skirt steak), and kalbi (short rib). The pork belly and chicken were decent, but the beef was just okay for the price. However, considering the content in Karasuma, it's quite affordable. So, thank you for the meal! Apart from yakiniku, there are other options available, with a budget of around 1,000 yen.

I used it for lunch. There were options like yakiniku lunch and donburi. I forgot the name, but I had the beef tongue donburi. It came with soup and salad. It had a generous amount of ikura on top and the meat was light and delicious without any smell. I would like to try it at night as well.

In the rapidly changing center of Kyoto where shops come and go, it's a delight to be able to revisit this restaurant I went to a few years ago. The atmosphere inside is stylish and doesn't feel like a typical yakiniku place. The Meat Staircase Gracce Assortment is beautifully presented. The meat is sweet and delicious. Great ambiance, very close to Karasuma Station. I would love to come back to this place when I visit Kyoto again.
