I visited around 1pm. I entered the store right away. Among all the Tenkaippin stores, this one is spacious and clean. It used to operate in another location, but it moved into a former Kokurakuen store. It is rare for Tenkaippin to have touch panel ordering. I tried the Kotteri MAX for the first time, and the thick soup was delicious. I prefer this over the regular Kotteri.

"I had the rich Tianjin rice set meal for 1,200 yen. When I visited, the rating on Tabelog was 3.07. They have a parking lot, which is quite spacious. I was considering getting the extra rich MAX version, but due to my age, I opted for the regular rich Tianjin rice, and it was still quite intense."

Sometimes, you just crave the rich and flavorful ramen from Tenkaippin. The thick soup is like a magical potion that once you have it, you won't need it for a while. But for some reason, you can't resist it. I was out and about, searching for a Tenkaippin nearby, and finally found one. I ordered the fried rice set, although I was really in the mood for their rich ramen. But as I looked at the menu, the fried rice seemed appealing. Tenkaippin's fried rice has that unique Tenkaippin soup flavor, which can be a hit or miss for some people. I personally like it. And the ramen has that distinct creamy soup that is just so satisfying. Ah, I am content. Thank you for the meal.

I couldn't resist and had to sneak into the Kyoto's Kumiyama store, which was offering an early sale of the new "Kotteri MAX" from Tenkaippin before its nationwide release on 6/12. "Kotteri MAX" is an even richer version of their already rich ramen. As a big fan of rich ramen, I just had to try it before it officially launched in Mie Prefecture. Upon arriving at the store, I saw the banner for "Kotteri MAX" and my excitement went through the roof. I ordered the "Kotteri MAX (regular)" for 1190 yen, with additional toppings of "chashu" for 170 yen and "rice (small)" for 120 yen. The service was quick and efficient, and my ramen arrived promptly. The soup was thick but not overly viscous, and clung to the noodles in a satisfying way. The rich flavor of the soup was intense and delicious, and I loved every bite. I decided to take some soup home to cook with noodles later, and it turned out to be just as flavorful and rich as when I had it at the store. I have my own way of enjoying ramen, where I finish all the noodles first and then finely chop the chashu to mix with the soup and pour over rice. This "Kotteri MAX" ramen was even better than the regular version, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. It was a delightful meal.

Today, I had a reason to come to Kumiyama, so I tried the Kotteri MAX ramen at Tenkaippin Kumiyama store ahead of its nationwide release on June 12th. Right now, there are other stores offering ramen with such a rich flavor that it can stand a spoon upright, so if they call it Kotteri MAX, it should be even richer. Tenkaippin Kumiyama store, Kyoto Prefecture, Kuze District, Kumiyama-cho, Tai Mukaino 17-1.

Today, I came here for the "Kotteri MAX" which is being sold in limited stores nationwide from June 1st, 2023. Unfortunately, there are no stores in Osaka where you can eat it, so I'll have to wait until the 12th (*>∀<*). Luckily, my hometown is close to Kyoto, so I can go there easily. I ordered the "Kotteri MAX (regular)" without even looking at the menu. The soup looked the same as usual, but it was thick and had a high viscosity. The noodles were thin straight noodles, and they mixed well with the soup. The toppings included thin slices of chashu, menma, and green onions. I added some ramen sauce and finished it. It turned out as I expected. It made me realize that the regular "Kotteri" ramen is perfectly balanced in every aspect. Next time, I'll try the Tenkaichi Festival somewhere. Thank you for the meal.

Took a bus from Kintetsu Okubo Station and got off at Tai Bus Stop, about a 2-minute walk away. There is also a parking lot available. This well-known shop originated in Kyoto and is famous for its rich and creamy ramen. They are currently selling the "Kotteri MAX," which will be available nationwide from 6/12, but has been offered here since 6/1. This time, I chose the ultimate Kotteri MAX, which is even richer and creamier than their regular Kotteri ramen. I enjoyed the incredibly rich and flavorful ramen. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a restaurant in the heavy rain to try the "Extra Rich" ramen that has been offered in some stores since yesterday. The toppings include roasted pork, bamboo shoots, and green onions. The taste and noodles are similar to the regular Kotteri ramen, with a thicker broth that is not overly thick, more like a thick vegetable soup. The broth has a higher viscosity, but not to the point where chopsticks can stand up in it. It reminds me of a vegetable potage. The noodles do not sink easily in the broth due to its thickness. Overall, it maintains the same basic flavor as the regular Kotteri ramen, but with a more enjoyable taste of Tenkaippin. I find it tastier than last year's limited-time menu "Super Kotteri." However, the price of over 1,000 yen makes it less accessible for casual dining.

I went to try the new "Kotteri MAX" at Tenkaippin, which is currently being sold in some stores ahead of the official release. Even near closing time, there were still many people coming in. I tried the Kotteri MAX around 10 PM and felt a bit guilty. I actually tried going on the first day but there were too many people, so I gave up. The rich flavor of the Kotteri MAX was unmatched. The slightly rough texture of the soup was unique to this version, I suppose. The Hormone Vegetable Stir-fry was a great addition, with a sweet sauce that complemented the richness of the beef. Another satisfying meal today, thank you! #Tenkaippin #KyotoGourmet #Ramen #ChickenPaitan #Kotteri #MAX

After successfully concluding a business negotiation nearby, we had a late lunch at 3:00 PM. The restaurant was empty and the staff were taking turns to take a break. Before we knew it, we were using the touch panel ordering system. My colleague and I enjoyed the classic menu of thick ramen with extra noodles and rice. The taste was just as good as it has always been. Thank you for the meal♪

★ Too Stingy Tenkaippin ★ In the midst of prices going up for everything, today I encountered another surprising pricing at Tenkaippin, known for its Stamina Soup Chuka Soba. [Photo 1] ★ Rich Ramen 920 yen ★ Increase noodle to 2 servings 450 yen ★ Medium rice 190 yen - Total including tax 1,560 yen Paying 1,560 yen just for ramen and rice, it's unbelievable! It's like the total amount you'd expect at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. This is as surprising as when I found out that the large serving of Yakigohan at Benkei Udon costs 650 yen (laughs). Also, the "Tsubo Negi" which used to be available at each table for free, has now made a comeback but is now charged for. [Photo 2] And to make matters worse, if you ask for extra soup, it's an additional 110 yen, and the char siu has now been reduced to just one slice. Tenkaippin... Aren't you being a bit too stingy? Are things really that tough for you guys?

I suddenly felt like having the rich and flavorful ramen from Tenkaippin. It is now available as a frozen food at convenience stores. This time, I ordered the "rich" (regular) ramen on its own. I forgot to specify if I wanted garlic, but I asked for regular green onions. The pork slices were thin and a bit on the dry side. The bamboo shoots were the usual standard ones, but the portion of noodles in the regular size was a bit small. Normally, I order the set meal which includes pork kimchi or fried rice, so having just the ramen on its own felt a bit lacking. Next time, I'll make sure to order a set. Even the large size is only about 1.5 servings, so it's just a slight increase in quantity.

We felt like eating rich ramen, so we went to a ramen restaurant with our family. We ordered ramen with toppings of leeks, garlic, and seasoned boiled eggs (one without leeks), as well as miso ramen (without leeks) and a children's set with rich fried rice, fried chicken, and winged gyoza. I customized my ramen using the touch panel. I hope that tomorrow, everyone in the family will have smooth skin.

On a Sunday night, dining alone, I went to the nearest Tenkaippin, a rich ramen shop in Kuyama, which I used to visit since my student days 40 years ago. The shop has moved about 200 meters away and now it looks clean and new. It had 9 tables and about 18 counter seats, quite a large store. I entered before 6:00 PM, and there were already a few families and one person at the counter, about 15 people in total. The staff consisted of 2 in the kitchen and 4 in the hall. When I entered, nobody greeted me? I just sat at the counter. Even when I asked for water... it took a while to arrive. And they didn't take my order right away... The staff seemed like student part-timers and inexperienced, avoiding eye contact and acting like they didn't know what to do. In the back, there was a sign promoting LINE for customer retention, but shouldn't they focus on training first??? I ordered fried rice set with rich ramen, garlic added, and firm noodles! As expected from Tenkaippin, a nationwide chain, the taste was consistent. The "rich" ramen was more like a potage soup, not as heavy as the current tonkotsu ramen, but still delicious. It was a bit saltier than other places. The fried rice was soy sauce-based but just right, not too heavy. The price was 1,200 yen. A bit pricier than other ramen shops, but that's fine. The new competing ramen shops are working hard on both taste and service. I hope Tenkaippin, with all its nostalgic memories, will also strive to improve.

It's been a really long time since I last had Tenkaippin. It might have been about 15 years since I last ordered the rich ramen. I was so hungry that I also ordered fried rice, but it was too much, so I shared half of it. It was delicious to change the taste by adding spicy miso.

It had been quite a while since I last visited Tenkaippin! This time, I went to the Hisagoyama branch for the first time. When I arrived around 12 o'clock, the parking lot was full, so I had to wait a bit to park, and then waited another 15 minutes to get inside. It seems to be very popular. I ordered the fried chicken dumplings set for ¥1,220, and my wife ordered the Tenshin fried rice set for ¥1,200. It felt like the prices had gone up a lot since the last time I visited, but I guess there's nothing we can do about it. The soup was served soon after, and it was delicious as always! When you lift the noodles with your chopsticks, a large amount of soup comes with it. Just like that! However, the dumplings and fried chicken in the set were average. I tried a bite of the Tenshin fried rice, and it was tasty with the rich soup from the ramen, but eating it together with the rich ramen might get a bit overwhelming. Sometimes you just crave Tenkaippin, but as I get older, I find it harder to eat a lot, so maybe just having the rich ramen alone is just right.

I came here because I wanted to try the new menu item "Rich Tonkatsu Fried Rice"! Instead of the sauce in the Tonkatsu Fried Rice, there is a rich soup added! It's definitely going to be delicious! So, I ordered the following: - Rich Tonkatsu Fried Rice Set [Ramen (regular) + Rich Tonkatsu Fried Rice (small)] changed to [Rich Ramen (extra-large) + Rich Tonkatsu Fried Rice (large)] + Seasoned Boiled Egg My wife ordered the Soup Rice Set [Rich Ramen (regular) + Spicy Cod Roe Rice (regular)] changed to [Rich Ramen (regular) + Spicy Cod Roe Rice (small)] (firm noodles) + Seasoned Boiled Egg Our child ordered the Soup Rice Set [Rich Ramen (regular) + Spicy Cod Roe Rice (small)] + Seasoned Boiled Egg After a while, our orders were served. I sometimes have a strong craving for the "Rich Ramen" from Tenkaippin. This time, we all ordered the rich options! For the past few years, I have been the only one ordering rich dishes! My wife usually prefers light flavors, and our child is used to street food flavors. Now, let's dig in! First, the "Rich Ramen." Starting with the soup, the thick and rich taste spreads throughout my body as I sip it. I can't stop eating it! Next, the "Rich Tonkatsu Fried Rice." I scoop up plenty of the rich soup with the spoon and eat it together with the fried rice. The soup goes well with the rice! It's better with more soup! Towards the end, when the soup is running low, I add some from the ramen and finish it all. Lastly, the "Rich Almond Jelly." When I take a bite, I'm relieved that it's not a rich soup flavor, but a rich almond jelly instead. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

On this day, we had a late lunch. My partner and I went to Tenka, a restaurant that our child also wanted to visit. For the past few years, I have always had the light ramen here. Today, after many years, I decided to have the rich ramen. We ordered the soup rice set, which our child also wanted. My partner had the rich Tianjin rice set. I really like the mentaiko rice that comes with this set. The rice portion is not that big, but I love the amount of mentaiko in it. The mentaiko rice arrived shortly. It looks delicious today too. My partner's rich Tianjin rice also arrived. It's small, isn't it? Is it enough? And then the rich ramen with flavored egg arrived. It's been a while, rich ramen. Looks delicious. I took a sip of the soup right away. It's thick. It's delicious, really delicious. However, unconsciously, I moved the flavored egg to the rice. Flavored egg, before you get soaked in the soup, be a companion to the rice. I refocused and lifted the noodles. A lot of soup came up with the noodles. The chopsticks are heavy. Or is the soup thicker today? I loosened the noodles again and slurped them up, taking a bite of rice as well. Yes, it's delicious. But I realized again. I like the light version. I learned the deliciousness of the pork fat and soy sauce in the light ramen at Tenka. I chose the rich one today, but next time, I'll go for the light one again. With extra green onions. I continued eating the quite rich ramen. When I finished the noodles, there was little soup left, so I drank it all. It was my first time finishing the soup, and it was definitely delicious. I was full, but I ordered almond jelly to distract myself from the richness in my mouth. Is almond jelly also rich? I thought so, but the rich almond jelly was actually quite to my liking. I want to eat a few more. The soup was particularly thick today, more than usual. It was delicious, but... I glanced at my child's ramen bowl. There was a lot of soup left. How did you eat it? A mystery.

On a holiday lunch, we visited a restaurant in Kumiyama-cho, Kyoto Prefecture along Route 1 and sat at a table. We ordered using a touch panel! I ordered the Chicken Nanban set meal with a crispy coating, while my partner ordered the light ramen. The Chicken Nanban came with rice and garlic condiments. The crispy ramen and Chicken Nanban were delicious! The light soup was also tasty! When I finished the rich soup, I saw the words "We look forward to seeing you again tomorrow." at the bottom. It's the Tenkaippin Kumiyama-cho branch. How was it? After moving my workplace to Kyoto, I visited this place that I had heard of but never been to before. I arrived around 4 pm and there were three other customers already there. It seems like you order using a touch panel remote control, similar to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. After ordering, the food was served in about 7 minutes. I ordered the rich ramen with seasoned egg, pork belly topping, and fried rice set with fried chicken for 1960 yen. The prices here are a bit on the high side compared to regular ramen shops, and it actually seemed like they had increased their prices by about 10% from what I had researched beforehand. The soup was rich and thick, but it had a strange negative smell that was off-putting. The fried rice and fried chicken were just average, not very cost-effective. Overall, my final impression was not very positive.
