The parking lot in front of the store can accommodate several dozen cars (for a fee). This time, I purchased matcha parfait, hojicha parfait, and matcha soft serve ice cream. There are table seats in front of the store and terrace seats as well, but during hot weather, we enjoyed our treats slowly on the observation deck on the second floor. The taste was okay, I guess.

I went to have lunch at the main store of Ninaru Chaduna, a restaurant inside the "Koryukan Chazuna" in the "Tea and Uji Town History Park" behind the Keihan Uji Station. The restaurant is located at the back of a large building with terrace seating, but most of the tables were reserved. Luckily, I found a small table available. I ordered udon and soba noodles, but I opted for the unique "Taiko Curry". This curry commemorates the achievement of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who built a levee in this area to direct the Uji River to the Yodo River. The curry was served with rice shaped like boats and levees, with careful attention to detail! Besides the sweet baked goods shaped like boats, there was a paper explaining the origin of the curry placed underneath, adding to the dining experience. Despite being a curry mainly consisting of deep-fried vegetables, it was healthy and delicious! For dessert, everyone was enjoying the popular cotton candy-covered mitarashi dango. The fluffy dango wrapped in mitarashi sauce was a delightful treat. The weather was nice, and the park was filled with people taking a leisurely stroll, creating a lovely environment. After a satisfying meal, I recommend visiting the tea museum before heading home. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I had been wanting to visit Chazenomori for a while, and I finally went on May 2nd, which happened to be the 88th night. They explained the history, types, and production methods of tea in detail, and I learned a lot of things I didn't know before. After that, I took a break at "Tonimaru" inside the facility. I ordered the "Tonimaru Yoku Bari Set" for 900 yen. The two types of warabi mochi went well with the black syrup. The mini parfait had layers of whipped cream, chestnut, matcha ice cream, red bean paste, shiratama dango, jelly, and more, and it was delicious.

Cafe and restaurant by Ameya-san's Iwai Seika. I stopped by to purchase some candy from Iwai Seika and ended up having lunch and dessert. The food was delicious, and it came with two small side dishes which made me very satisfied. The warabi mochi dessert I had was refreshing and not too sweet, typical of the warabi mochi made by a candy shop. I usually prefer to eat warabi mochi without syrup, but the syrup here was amazing. It wasn't overly sweet or sticky, just a perfect light sweetness that complemented the warabi mochi well. I highly recommend trying the syrup with the warabi mochi here!

Matcha Parfait for 880 yen. It includes white balls, chestnut, red bean paste, cornflakes, and tea agar, which are delicious. I also enjoyed a candy with a hint of tea flavor. The garden and plaza inside "Chaduna" are beautiful, making it a nice place for a leisurely stroll, especially during the good seasons. The building is also well-maintained.
