This was my first time entering this restaurant near my home, and I was pleasantly surprised. The place has about 8 counter seats and a second floor with tatami seating, accommodating around 10 people. It was the restaurant's 5th anniversary, and the atmosphere was festive with flowers and decorations. The young chef, who is in his 40s, was skilled and the food, mainly Japanese cuisine with a variety of fish, meat, and vegetables, was delicious. The mackerel sushi I had that day was probably the best I've had recently. The chef was focused on his work and his sincerity was evident. It seems like most customers are regulars, but it's welcoming to newcomers as well. I look forward to visiting this place with the changing seasons. I have high expectations.

(2009-05 revisit) This is a photo addition. The white fish and fresh onion tempura were delicious. (2009-04 initial visit) It's a small traditional Japanese restaurant. Located in a quiet residential area slightly southwest of Eizan Ichijoji Station, on a somewhat wide road lined with a few eateries and cafes. You can order seasonal Japanese dishes here. While there are no particularly unique dishes, I felt that the food was well-prepared. The counter seats on the first floor (8 seats) are often filled with regular customers, with laughter and chatter constantly heard. The second floor has tatami seating, but reservations are required in advance. I think it's a good place to relax and have a leisurely chat with friends.
