I visited the restaurant after 9:00 PM, and even though it was located in a residential area, the front of the shop was well lit, making it easy to find. Inside, the compact layout featured tables for 2 and 4 people, with additional seating on the second floor. I decided to try the "Hainanese Chicken Rice" (950 yen) for the first time, choosing the 200g portion. The dish arrived on a wooden tray, with the chicken rice topped with chicken, a salad on a plate, soup, and three sauces on the side. The chicken rice, cooked with Indica rice, chicken broth, ginger, and chicken oil, was flavorful and fluffy. The boiled chicken had tender meat and crispy skin, and tasted delicious on its own, but even better when paired with the ginger, chili, and soy sauces provided. The ginger sauce had a refreshing kick, the chili sauce added a spicy depth, and the soy sauce had a rich umami flavor. The chicken broth was light yet flavorful, showcasing the essence of the chicken. The homemade sauces demonstrated the chef's culinary skills. Although I don't usually visit the same restaurant frequently, the delicious Hainanese Chicken Rice has made me curious to try other items on the menu, and I look forward to visiting again soon.
