I immediately went back for more! "Wagyu and Tan Yakiniku Tomi Shimbashi Honten" From the first picture, they surprised us with roast beef, which is not typical for a yakiniku restaurant! Actually, a person I got to know last time said, "I can't come to grill this time, so this is a service," isn't that amazing? And they are related to "Tomi"? and they serve French cuisine or not (*´艸`)
The second and third pictures show the reliable Tomi Tan, the rich Tomi Tan... It's so consistent that no comment is needed, right? If I have to say something, please make sure to grill the rich Tomi well! It becomes crispy on the outside and still has the unique tenderness of Tan inside, it's the best!
The fourth picture is Senmai Sashi, which might be too strong for some people, but it's actually not at all... You can eat it as it is! It's especially great when dipped in their special miso sauce ✨️
The fifth picture is Spicy Miso Harami, my first challenge, but it wasn't that spicy. It still had the unique meatiness of Harami and it was delicious!
The sixth picture is Upper Mino. I have a theory that the quality of Upper Mino determines the quality of the restaurant, and this one truly had no chewy feeling, you can enjoy the crunchy texture, this is the essence of Upper Mino! Be sure to order it and make sure to grill it well! Those who can't handle undercooked meat, be careful haha
The seventh picture is Cold Noodles with Tororo (grated yam) and Yuzu Oroshi (grated yuzu). I went back this time because I was impressed by the Yuzu Oroshi Cold Noodles! After yakiniku, eating cold noodles with grated yuzu is the best! By the way, I noticed that the grated yuzu has a hint of spiciness, and I discovered the secret of its surprise and deliciousness haha. If I were to give you a tip on how to enjoy it, I think you will be impressed if you eat it at the end of your meal when you think you can't eat anymore haha
The eighth picture is Minced Meat and Green Peppers. The bitterness of raw green peppers is removed, and you eat it with minced meat. The freshness of the raw green peppers and the slightly sweet minced meat are exquisite! This is dangerous as an appetizer!
The ninth picture is Salad. This is also amazing! It has Tororo on top, and you can eat the salad in one go! I could even eat three bowls of rice with this!! I don't eat rice at night though haha
They also served Shiitake mushroom soup between courses, and with 4 drinks (2 soft drinks) for 2 people, it was in the 15,000 yen range! Isn't that a great cost performance!?
In conclusion, Tomi has the deliciousness that doesn't lose to famous yakiniku restaurants in terms of meat quality. Plus, they have one dish that is not too formal like a meat cuisine, which adds surprise and freshness, enhancing the deliciousness. The staff is friendly and responsive to requests, making it very easy to visit. Tomi is such a place.
