My elderly mother, husband, daughter, and I visited here for the second time. We had tried to go to another izakaya nearby without a reservation before, but we were not seated even after waiting for a while. So, we gave up and happened to find this place nearby, where we were seated immediately. The food was delicious, so we decided to come back again. Today, we visited without a reservation once more, and we were lucky to find available seats. The menu is extensive, and we ordered okonomiyaki (pork), negiyaki (soy sauce and sauce flavors), yakisoba (beef), modanyaki (beef with fried egg topping), potato cheese, garlic yakisoba, and crispy skin. Everything was incredibly delicious. The master cooked the food and brought it to our table's hot plate. We were given a bottle of mayonnaise when we asked for it, so we could put as much as we wanted. I especially liked the crispy skin. We only had one drink each, but the total bill for four people was 7,000 yen, which was very reasonable. It may not be flashy, but I would love to go back again. Thank you for the meal!

I went to a nearby okonomiyaki and teppanyaki restaurant because I was late from work. It was my first time there and initially there were only two groups, but later two more groups arrived. It seemed like a popular spot with many regular customers. I started with a Chorogi salad, which had apples and a sweet-spicy dressing that tasted homemade. I ordered the medium-sized spare rib karaage, which lived up to its name with a distinct spare rib flavor. For the okonomiyaki, I chose the one with pork cheek meat, which had a slightly crunchy texture. It didn't have a strong visual impact but tasted decent. The tomato and cheese omelette was simply delicious. I had never tried pig's feet before, so I decided to order the grilled pig's feet. It wasn't really to my liking, so I let my husband finish it. The menu had a variety of options including yakisoba, modern-yaki, teppanyaki, and other side dishes.

I used it on my way home from work. It's just a short walk from JR Rokujizo Station. It takes about 10 minutes on foot from Keihan Rokujizo Station. Be careful. It's a teppanyaki restaurant. I was invited by my colleagues to go, so I went in. I had the pork okonomiyaki. They bring the okonomiyaki cooked in the kitchen to the table. The taste was delicious. It was my first time eating okonomiyaki in Kyoto, and compared to Osaka and Hiroshima okonomiyaki, it feels thinner. It was a modern-style okonomiyaki, with the ingredients concentrated in some parts of the batter. I ate while thinking, "Is this what Kyoto okonomiyaki is like?" The side menu was also fulfilling, and I ordered chicken wings, which were also delicious. It was about 5,000 yen for two people. I drank quite a bit of draft beer, but I think it was cost-effective. I would like to go again.

We decided to drink at Rokujizo and found a restaurant, Manpuku, where we could drop in without a reservation on a Friday night. They offer unique dishes such as natto omurice, cheese karikari, and large pieces of cartilage chicken that you can't find at other izakayas. The staff are attentive and quick to understand what you want to order. We ordered four beers for two people, and the total bill came to just over 3000 yen.

This is my third time here. There is no parking lot, so we parked at a coin parking nearby. It was a weekday after 8 o'clock. There was a regular-looking man at the counter. There were two of us, so we sat at a table. The waitress stood silently, so we ordered drinks. We had salad, teppanyaki, kalbi, okonomiyaki with suji, and a large portion of pork yakisoba. The okonomiyaki was more like Hiroshima style, or maybe Kyoto style. Let's call it Tokyo style. The teppanyaki was a bit small. The kalbi was delicious. We ordered a large yakisoba but got a regular size. Well, it's okay. The lack of friendliness from the waitress was quite noticeable. My companion even said after we left the restaurant, "With that attitude, the waitress is losing customers." The okonomiyaki was thin but tasty. The teppanyaki and kalbi were delicious. The salad was average. The yakisoba was tasty as well. It's delicious here, but the waitress... There are plenty of other delicious places to eat, so it all comes down to whether you like it or not. I often use it for drinking parties with friends. It's an okonomiyaki place, but they have a variety of options besides okonomiyaki. The salad and teppanyaki are quite nice. What I ordered this time was a salad with tomatoes, kiwi, and smoked cheese, and an okonomiyaki with tomatoes. The flavors are not too strong, but they leave a lasting impression. The auntie is quite friendly and has a lovely smile. There is a TV inside the restaurant, so you can have a lively time with friends while watching. I recommend the "Beer High" drink. It's a combination of beer and chuhai, but here, order it with "Calpis". The bitterness of the beer and the sweetness of the Calpis balance each other out perfectly. It's somehow miraculously delicious.

In addition to okonomiyaki, they have a variety of side dishes such as Korean-style beef stew and fish dishes. I happened to stop by for the first time and liked the casual and homely atmosphere, so I started going there often. The taste of okonomiyaki and yakisoba was average, but they had a wide selection of dishes that seemed like good accompaniments for drinks, such as freshly caught fish dishes. The flavors of these dishes were all very homey and simple. They had some unique menu items as well, so whenever I feel like dining out at a place with a variety of side dishes, I sometimes feel like going there. The drinks also seemed to be well thought out. I haven't been there recently, so I would like to go again sometime soon.

Very satisfied. The teppanyaki dishes were excellent. I want to come back again.
