This is the last inn we stayed at during our journey in Kyotango. In Ine, there are several inns that have been renovated from boat houses, but this one is amazing. It is a luxurious inn where you can rent an entire two-story boat house, and on the sea side of the first floor, there is a natural hot spring outdoor bath, so as soon as you step out of the bathtub, you are right above the sea surface (laughs). I think it may be the room with the outdoor bath closest to the sea in Japan. It is a design that can only be done in Ine Bay, where the climate is mild and the waves are almost non-existent... The view from the outdoor bath and the taste of the morning coffee you drink here will be unforgettable for a lifetime. Unfortunately, the dining area is in a separate building and does not serve dinner. Breakfast can be added for 2000 yen. It has a simple "Japanese home-style breakfast" feel, and although it may seem a bit expensive, the staff wake up early to prepare breakfast for the guests, so in a way, the cost performance may not be bad. Also, the homemade white rice cake dumplings served with tea were quite delicious. Some points to note about the facilities of the inn include: - It takes a long time for the hot water to heat up in the room's outdoor bath, taking over 4 hours to fill more than half of the bathtub. - The water cools down while heating, so additional heating is necessary. Additional heating cannot be done while the water is heating up. - During the day, sightseeing boats pass by in front of the bath continuously, so swimwear is required (no problem at night and early morning). - The lid of the bath is excellent at retaining heat but quite heavy (laughs). - There is no refrigerator, only a cooling box. Some good points include: - The view is absolutely amazing. - A perfect starry sky view from the bath. When all the lights in the room are turned off, the stars look incredibly beautiful. - The neighboring houses are ordinary residential homes. It was a good experience to feel the unique lifestyle of the local people living in boat houses. - Despite being close to the sea, there are hardly any sandflies (they are not completely absent, but they do not come close to the bathtub). - There is also a clean indoor bath that feels like a newly built apartment. - It has a scent of the sea, but strangely it does not smell like seaweed. - The view from the second floor is also great. It was a personal highlight to practice taking photos of the starry sky from the bath (laughs). The morning and evening views that are posted were taken from the bath. It may have turned into a review like on a certain website (laughs), but I definitely recommend enjoying the best coffee by the seaside. It was a fitting inn to conclude the journey in Kyotango.

The second night of my autumn short trip was spent at "Ine no Funaya Fuuga" in Ine Town, on the eastern side of the Tango Peninsula in Kyoto Prefecture. This inn is a whole boathouse rental, with a hot spring outdoor bathtub facing the sea. The view is amazing, but it can be a bit embarrassing as boats pass by right in front of you (laughs). Although they do not provide meals, I hesitated whether to post this on the site, but decided to upload it as a memo for myself! Honestly, this may be the best accommodation I have ever stayed in... it was that impressive. Firstly, since it is a whole rental, it is spacious! The view of the sea right in front of you is breathtaking! And you can soak in the hot spring while enjoying the view. It seems like you can easily go fishing or feed the seagulls. The first floor has a spacious living space including a four and a half tatami mat area, with a reclining sofa. There is an outdoor bath, indoor toilet, simple sink, and a system bath. The second floor has two large beds and a reclining chair for one person. The water facilities include a toilet, sink, and storage space. I was impressed by the renovation that was done here. Having morning coffee while looking at the sea, it's the best! Thank you for taking care of us. Thank you very much.
