It's been a while since my last visit. Kyoto itself was a rare occurrence for me, and there were a lot of foreign tourists. When I entered the restaurant after 5 PM, it was quite crowded with foreign customers. I decided to order Guinness and fish & chips again. The portion size was large and the batter was crispy and delicious as always. When I ran out of beer, I ordered a half pint of Guinness. I wanted to take a picture when the food arrived, but I felt a bit awkward around the foreign customers, so I ended up taking a photo while eating. However, I gradually got used to the atmosphere and was able to relax and enjoy my meal. It was worth coming back again this time!

After sparkling wine and white wine at the first bar, we went to an Irish pub for Guinness beer with fish and chips. The beer had a perfect silky foam, and even though I'm not a big beer drinker, I could tell it was delicious. For the second drink, I had a cold Punk IPA, which was easy to drink and reminded me a bit of Heineken. We happened to be at the sports bar during the World Baseball Classic Round 1 Japan vs. Korea live match. Even though it wasn't a sports bar, the atmosphere was lively and we enjoyed the game with the people at the next table. Japan won 13-4, and we had a great time cheering for Team Japan!

There are surprisingly few stores open late at night. I'm grateful. Late-night fish and chips. Guilty but happy. The fish was surprisingly big. However, it was supposed to be non-smoking, but smoking was allowed... I need to research properly. Anyway, it was fun! Thank you very much.

This is my second time here. The first time, I saw oysters on the menu outside and thought it was unusual for this kind of place, so I decided to come in. Turns out they were already sold out, so I settled for the fish & chips, which turned out to be delicious. Especially the tartar sauce was perfect for me, with a great balance of acidity. I wish they would sell this sauce separately! For drinks, I tried the beers from Ichijoji Brewery, which they seem to be affiliated with, as they had a good variety. The second time, I went for the 4500 yen + 550 yen all-you-can-drink course. Guinness was included in the all-you-can-drink menu. The first picture is of the Guinness. I'm not a big fan of dark beer, but this one had a light bitterness, so even those who don't like bitter beers might enjoy it. On the other hand, for those who love dark beer, it might not be bitter enough. They also had Hillner Urquell, but it was not available, maybe due to the impact of COVID-19. Asahi's Extra Cold was also included in the all-you-can-drink menu. The food portion was not that big, but since it's all-you-can-drink, it was enough for me. I really wanted to try the oysters this time, but someone in our group didn't like them, so I refrained. Next time I come, I'll definitely order them! (Maybe jinxed it, haha) Thank you for the meal.

I came to Kyoto in search of fish & chips. The restaurant opens in the evening, so I did some sightseeing before entering. This time, I ordered Guinness, duck dishes, and fish & chips. I was amazed by the size of the fish & chips. It was a big size that filled a large plate! Probably this is the size they serve in the UK. It was worth coming all the way to Kyoto.

Gubigubi beer and Fish & Chips at an Irish pub & restaurant in Dublin (beer hall in front of the city hall) on November 13, 2022, at 22:40 on a Sunday. While strolling around on a holiday, I was invited to "have a drink." Of course, I accepted the invitation! The place was Dublin, a beer hall in front of Kyoto City Hall. I had seen it often while running, but this was my first time inside. It had a great atmosphere! It didn't feel very Japanese, more like a bar overseas. First things first, beer! It was a Pilsner Urquell, I think? I drank it down quickly... Ahh! It was a Pilsner type with no strong taste, very easy to drink! For food, I ordered Fish & Chips. It was amazing! It was a generous portion and really delicious (I think the half size was 700 yen). The cod was fluffy and the potatoes were tender! I liked that they used fish instead of the usual meat (chicken). The voluminous yet light texture of the fish is the key point. The tartar sauce was also delicious. For my second drink, I had a Gin and Tonic. Gin and tonic at a bar always tastes so good! What is it about it? The brand? The ice? The strength? I drank it quickly, but it was a fun time!

I have never been to Dublin, but the Guinness and fish & chips were delicious, and the interior was fitting. I wondered if Dublin pubs are like this while having a second round of drinks. To be honest, if it were Dublin, the fish & chips might not be as delicious (Japanese-style) as this. The staff seemed to be enjoying themselves, and the atmosphere was similar to Japanese izakayas or cafes. When ordering from the tap or watching sports programs, it felt homey but somewhat cynical. I don't quite understand, but I think it would be even better if it got closer to the Dublin-like image in my head.

Located along Oike Street, right by the exit of the Tozai Line Kyoto City Hall Station, is the Irish pub restaurant "Dublin." Every dish, including the Fish & Chips, was delicious and the Guinness I came for kept flowing. The Carbonara we had to finish was the complete opposite of its surprising visual appearance, with a smooth and creamy taste. It was amazing.

Today, I went to an Irish pub near Kyoto City Hall. - Irish Pub & Restaurant Dublin It looks like a genuine Irish pub decorated with furniture and interior from Ireland. Lively Irish music was playing inside. - Cranberry Juice I had a colorful soft drink. They used environmentally friendly paper straws. - Fish & Chips (Small size) I tried the pub's popular dish, Fish & Chips. It was served with chunky cut potatoes and crispy fried white fish. The white fish with beer batter matched well with tartar sauce. The potatoes were large and satisfying. You can also try them with vinegar for a different taste. - Supreme Oyster Fry I ordered four fried oysters made from Ise oysters that can be eaten raw. The oysters were plump and the batter was crispy. I squeezed lemon and ate them with tartar sauce. It was a great dish that paired well with drinks. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the Irish pub even though I didn't drink alcohol. The food was delicious!

I visited the restaurant on Sunday, September 22, 2019. The interior was spacious and beautiful, making me feel like I was overseas. I ordered a Vodka Tonic, white wine, Tarako spaghetti, and shrimp ajillo, all of which were delicious and fantastic. It put me in a happy mood before going to bed. The restaurant is located near Hotel Okura. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely go again. I will eat with gratitude for all the ingredients in this world. Delicious things are calling me♪ The more I eat, the more power overflows♪

I visited this restaurant on July 11, 2019. It has a sense of openness and is a very nice place. It feels like being in a dream country overseas. The food is delicious, everything I ate was excellent. There is also a wide variety of drinks, making it a place you want to visit again. The view is also great, making it a comfortable place to be. I am grateful for all the ingredients in this world. Thank you for the meal. The more you eat, the more power you feel overflowing. I will definitely go again.

I went to an Irish pub near Kyoto City Hall today. It seems to be an authentic pub where you can enjoy the world's No. 1 popular Guinness beer. When I opened the door and entered the store, cheerful music was playing. They have live Celtic music (Irish music) events every Friday, and I was lucky to visit on a Friday. The furniture and fixtures made of oak wood are imported from Ireland and crafted by local artisans. Pilsner Urquell, known as the original Pilsner, is a representative beer of the Czech Republic. Pilsner Urquell is enjoyed with the foam. The foam should be three fingers thick, poured in the most traditional way called "Haradinka." I was able to savor the rich and creamy foam, along with the rich aroma and smooth taste. The Wing Chips, a set dish of fried chicken wings and potato chips, was a satisfying snack. I ordered an additional Guinness beer since I was at a place known for its delicious Guinness. The Dublin Guinness beer, with its carefully controlled temperature, seems to be different from others. The fine foam and the smooth taste of the black beer were lovely. Yummy!! The oil used for frying the wings had a unique aroma and taste. Snacks eaten with black beer are delicious! I was able to enjoy delicious beer in an exotic pub and had a relaxing time.

Feeling uplifted in a pub-like atmosphere overseas (ノ゜ー゜)ノ The wooden interior and spacious outdoor seating create a fantastic ambiance. Even foreigners were seen enjoying a drink alone, perhaps reminiscing about their homeland? This was my first experience of an Irish atmosphere, and it was really enjoyable!

I had steak, prosciutto, fish and chips, and fried chicken. It's all protein. I don't drink beer much, but the terrace is a nice space.
