This is the accommodation facility "Kyoto Keburikawa" located at Yunohana Onsen in Kameoka, Kyoto. I visited on a weekday and was surprised to find that there were quite a few guests staying, indicating that it is a popular accommodation. There was a discount for Kyoto residents, so it was a very affordable stay. The exterior looks like a public accommodation facility, as it used to be called Kameoka Heights. However, the interior was clean, well-maintained, and had a calming atmosphere. The staff were very polite and provided excellent service. The hot springs, both indoor and outdoor, were not very large but had a cozy feel. One great thing about this place is that soft drinks and alcohol were mostly free. Alcohol was available during dinner and after that, the bar in front of the reception was open until 22:30 for all-you-can-drink. Soft drinks were also free to enjoy at any time. This was a great deal. The alcohol included premium beer and local wines, among other brands. For meals, dinner was served at "Stone Oven Dining Hanari." I had the standard course "Stone Oven Japanese French San" which included various appetizers, consommé soup, fried monkfish, stone oven-roasted sea bream, pear sorbet, stone oven steak, and homemade parfait and ice cheesecake for dessert. The dishes were flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying in portion. The locally grown rice and rye bread were also delicious. Breakfast at "Sato-yama Dining Daichi" consisted of fish, rolled omelet, and chicken hot pot. The chicken dishes were the highlight, with a tender and juicy texture. The freshly cooked rice and creamy milk were also excellent. Overall, this accommodation offers good value for the price, excellent food quality, and convenient location close to Kyoto city.

In the mountainside dining area of Daichi, you can enjoy a breakfast filled with the charm of the countryside that will make you want to wake up early. The breakfast includes a bento box with a checkerboard pattern, fresh salad from Kaburigawa Farm with seasonal vegetable dressing, simmered dried daikon radish, simmered hijiki seaweed, and wild vegetable miso. There is also a katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) topping, pineapple, orange, and matcha daifuku (rice cake). You can also enjoy homemade rolled omelette and grilled fish. The breakfast also includes a hot pot with Tanba Akadori chicken and miso soup with local rice from Kyoto. You can also choose your favorite drink from the drink bar, which includes ginger ale, Pepsi Cola, White Water Natchan, orange juice, oolong tea, vinegar drinks (apple and grapefruit), coffee, hojicha (roasted green tea), black tea, and Miyama milk.

Stone kiln dining Nari Satoyama Feast Cuisine Dinner Top Class Course "Kyo" -KYO- is based on the harmony of local Kameoka ingredients, ingredients sourced from all over Japan, and vegetables grown in the Enka River's own farm. The concept is to create a blend of local and national ingredients. The main dish features stone kiln-grilled autumn vegetables from the Keburikawa farm and domestic beef fillet. The course includes approximately 30 carefully selected beverages for enjoyment with the all-inclusive "Marugoto Omotenashi" of Enka River, including a wide range of drinks, including alcohol.

Had lunch at Satoyama Dining♪ A group lunch during the Obon holiday, on the way back from Yunohana Onsen. It had been a while since I last visited. Previously, they had a delicious vegetable-heavy lunch buffet. However, due to the pandemic, the buffet was suspended and they only offered two set menus. The restaurant has been renovated and the interior is much more spacious now. We were seated at a table with a view of the garden, which created a pleasant atmosphere. I ordered the 2000 yen lunch set, which included minced meat hittsumi-bushi and green tea soba. It was a hearty set, which may be a lot for women or elderly individuals. It would be nice if there were more menu options available. I enjoyed the meal, but couldn't finish all the rice as there was a lot. It would be great if we could choose the portion size of the soba. I recommend this restaurant for family or multi-generational dining as the table layout allows for some distance. They also have day trip hot springs, so be sure to visit when you have time to relax. Thank you for the delicious meal♡

I entered the final chapter of cleaning up my parents' house in Osaka. I think there's just one more time left. On the way back, I made a little detour to Kebrigawa, a hidden gem in Kyoto known as the backyard of the city. I've always wanted to visit this hot spring located a little away from the Yuno Hana hot spring town. They offer day trips as well, so I wanted to try it once. They have accommodations and glamping options, and it seems to be quite popular. The entrance fee for adults is 1,000 yen, which is a bit high for a day trip hot spring with a towel included. The baths include a large communal bath and an open-air bath. It may seem a bit understated, but it's a nice place to relax. After soaking in the hot spring, I enjoyed a coffee in the lobby. Guests staying overnight can enjoy all-you-can-drink beer, cocktails, soft drinks, but day visitors have to pay for their drinks. After a little break, I checked out the souvenirs in the lobby. I have a habit of feeling unsatisfied if I don't buy anything when there's nothing that catches my eye, I usually buy local sake. I bought their original sake for 490 yen. When I got home, I enjoyed it with simmered tendons and daikon radish. The sake had a slight sweetness from the malt, making it a casual and easy-to-drink sake that goes well with home-cooked meals. Compared to other day trip hot springs that are cheaper and offer a variety of baths, there are a few places on the way back that might be better, but this place has a calm and relaxed atmosphere without the crowded and noisy feel of typical day trip hot springs, so it's not bad after all.

We reunited with my husband's mother after 3 years and decided to go on a trip nearby instead of visiting her home since she now lives alone in a rented apartment after leaving her family home. After much thought, we chose to go on a trip to Kyoto and stayed at Sato-no-Kawara in Ukyo. I have already written about the accommodation and breakfast in separate sections. Here, I would like to talk about the BBQ lunch that was included in the plan. The price included the accommodation fee, hot spring tax, breakfast the next day, and lunch as well, so please take note. We chose to have the BBQ on the second day of our stay. We were given a fan and charcoal at check-out and were instructed to start a fire before the ingredients arrived. We struggled a bit with starting the fire but eventually managed. The BBQ materials were delivered by a partner company and included salad, edamame, fruits, and bread. The bread wrapped in aluminum foil turned out to be delicious when grilled. However, we were disappointed that drinks were not included in the set, so we had to buy them from the hotel vending machine. Overall, the BBQ materials were tasty and satisfying, but I felt that opting for a plan without BBQ might be better, considering the current setup. The accommodation was overall very satisfying, but the BBQ experience felt a bit lacking. If not staying at the hotel, the option to use the bath for 600 yen might be appealing.

I visited Kameoka in Kyoto in the spring. It's about an hour and a half from Sakai. It's quite deep in the mountains, but there are convenience stores scattered around. Convenience stores are amazing. I ordered the Eneko all-inclusive collaboration package for 1 night and 2 meals at 15,450 yen. The first thing that surprised me was the free drinks in the lounge. Beer is free. I had a draft beer as soon as I arrived. And it's all-you-can-drink. It tastes like premium beer. You can also take it to your room. Next time, I want to stock up on snacks and have them in my room. They have foot baths, a farm, and a grand golf course in the garden, which is very thoughtful. Now, for dinner, I will have it in a separate building, which is also lovely, and there are free drinks here too. There are more varieties, which is great, but the best part is the all-you-can-drink draft beer. The steak for dinner was especially tender and delicious. Everything else was also well thought out and good. Breakfast was ordinary. Overall, I don't think it's a new hotel, but I liked the high level of hospitality and the all-inclusive concept.

A mother and daughter enjoyed a holiday in the countryside at the "Hozu Mountain" in Kyoto, Kameoka♡ They stayed for one night at this stylish place with a natural hot spring outdoor bath. The property is very spacious with its own farm, playground, dome-shaped glamping facility, foot bath, and beautiful views all around. The room "Hozu Mountain" is a special room with a natural hot spring outdoor bath. The room is a spacious Japanese-style twin room, and stepping out onto the terrace, there is a private Shigaraki-yaki Goemon-style bath. The bath is filled with natural radium hot spring water. They visited in November and were able to enjoy the autumn leaves. For dinner, they dined at the stone oven dining "Hanari"♡ For breakfast, they enjoyed a meal at the countryside dining "Daichi"♡ The breakfast menu included a variety of dishes such as a colorful salad with farm vegetables, Kyoto Tanba black chicken hot pot, grilled fish of the day, homemade rolled omelette, Kameoka-grown Koshihikari rice, and countryside miso soup. It was a delicious meal♡ Thank you for the feast~✧*。(ˊ ˋ*)

I didn't know about this place at all! I was looking for a hot spring inn between Shigaraki and Tanba Sasayama, and stumbled upon this place. It was a fantastic inn! The hot spring water was great, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. The cost performance was also very good. The dinner was a course meal with decent ingredients, but the chefs did a meticulous job. The presentation, taste, and portion were all perfect, and I was very satisfied! Plus, it was all-you-can-drink, so I really enjoyed it. I would love to make this place my regular inn in the future. The breakfast was also warm and delicious. Thank you very much!

☑️ Cozy atmosphere typical of a hot spring inn ☑️ Drink bar including Japanese sake and wine ☑️ Fresh vegetables harvested from surrounding farms In order to relax and relieve the fatigue of remote work, I decided to go on a long-awaited hot spring trip. I did some research and found a place that I could reach without a car, which is "Satoyama no Kyujitsu Kyoto-Kasugai." It is conveniently located just 20 minutes away by shuttle bus from JR Kameoka Station, making it easily accessible from Osaka and Kyoto. --- For dinner, the standard course at SanSAN Ishiyaki Japanese French restaurant focuses on a mix of Japanese and French cuisine using a stone oven. The standout dishes were the two main courses. The salmon grilled in the stone oven had a rich, melt-in-your-mouth texture, which paired perfectly with a basil-based green sauce. The roasted beef cooked in the stone oven was also exceptional, accompanied by deliciously seasoned vegetables from the facility's own farm. Moreover, the drink bar was well stocked with a variety of alcohol options, including unlimited servings of draft beer, highballs, Japanese sake, and wine, making it a paradise for alcohol lovers! --- The guest rooms come with open-air baths, and the price for a morning and evening course is around 20,000 yen per person, which is quite reasonable. The "wholehearted hospitality" with eight complimentary services was also a nice touch, and overall, I was very satisfied with my experience. Thank you for the wonderful meal. --- [Menu for Today] ⚫︎ Encountering the blessings of the Satoyama ⚫︎ Consommé with the fragrance of matsutake mushrooms ⚫︎ Roasted duck and autumn flavors ⚫︎ Salmon grilled in the stone oven ⚫︎ Yuzu sorbet ⚫︎ Roasted domestic beef ⚫︎ Kameoka-produced Koshihikari rice ⚫︎ Homemade apple parfait and chestnut cake --- [Today's Restaurant] ■ Kasugai (Japanese French cuisine) ■ 20 minutes by car from Kameoka Station ■ Food Blog Rating ★★★☆☆ 3.44 ■ Hotaru Log Rating ★★★☆☆ 3.6 --- ◉ Introducing delicious restaurants recommended for people in their 20s and 30s, mainly in Osaka ◉ I'm thrilled with your follows, likes, comments, saves, and requests for restaurant or area recommendations ◉ #Kasugai in Kyoto, #Satoyama no Kyujitsu in Kyoto #Kameoka Gourmet, #Kyoto Gourmet #Kameoka Dinner, #Hotaru Log Dinner #Hotaru Log Kameoka, #Hotaru Log Kyoto #Casual Hotaru Log, #Gourmet Instagram #Connect with people who love gourmet, #Tokyo Gourmet, #Osaka Gourmet, #Gourmet Guys #Walking Food Blog, #Supporting Restaurants, #Hotaru Log #Hotaru Log 3.5 and above

After taking a bath, you can choose from two dinner options at the restaurant: "Sato-yama Dining Daichi" on the first floor of the main building and "Stone Oven Dining Hanari" in a separate building. The Hanari option offers a full kaiseki course, which may seem a bit pricey at first, but surprisingly, it is quite reasonable, starting from 12,000 yen for one night with two meals. The food was so delicious that you might think it's worth it just for the meals! The separate building has a solemn atmosphere, with a courtyard outside. It features a rare "stone oven" in Japan, which enhances the flavor of carefully selected ingredients through far-infrared effects. We dined in a private room and enjoyed the spring course from March to May. The dishes included grilled Taiyaki with kombu, cherry blossom sea bream wrapped in cherry leaves with Usui beans soup, and A5 Tajima Wagyu sirloin steak cooked in the stone oven. The meal was accompanied by various other dishes, including local white rice and a unique side dish called "Katakami Shoten" with black bean miso soup. The dessert buffet was a highlight, with a variety of options brought to us as we arrived just before closing time. The children's dinner menu at Hanari was also impressive, featuring dishes like Tajima beef hamburger steak and stone oven-grilled vegetables. After dinner, we enjoyed complimentary drinks at the bar lounge before returning to our room for a relaxing night.

Dinner included dishes like ankimo, tofu, seitan sashimi, Tajima beef hot pot, grilled duck with Kujo green onions, tempura, and steamed sushi, all-you-can-eat buffet style with unlimited alcohol. The dinner was generally delicious, so I ended up eating too much. Breakfast was also a buffet, but unlike dinner, none of the dishes were particularly tasty. It felt like something was missing in the seasoning of all the dishes. I wonder if the chefs for breakfast and dinner are different.

I attended a labor union training in Kameoka, Kyoto where we stayed at Keburigawa. It's in the mountains of Kameoka with nothing around. Dinner was a delicious kaiseki meal and I was quite full. The bath was amazing with tatami flooring in the bathroom. The hot spring water was also very good, so relaxing! In the morning, we had a buffet breakfast with a wide variety of dishes. I would love to come back with my family if I have the chance!

When the restaurant opened, many people were waiting. They were called in one by one and went inside. The restaurant had a great view with full glass windows. It was a buffet, so I quickly went to get food. There were a wide variety of vegetables, meat, and rice lined up. The egg over rice was delicious. The Kameoka beef was also tender and exquisite. There were both Japanese and Western desserts, even though I was already full... I ended up eating everything. The vegetables were especially delicious, and I also tried a little bit of miso soup (?) and curry. Thank you for the meal!

I took a stroll around the area near Kinkaku-ji in Kyoto before visiting this place. It seems to have been renovated from a facility called Kameoka Heights. The hot spring had a slight chlorine smell. For dinner, there was a half-buffet where you could choose your steak and hot pot from a buffet, along with set dishes. You could customize the hot pot with various broths and ingredients, and drinks were all-you-can-drink. The specially chosen dishes were delicious, but the steak was a bit fatty. It was a shame that there weren't many other options besides the hot pot. I wished there were more Kyoto-style dishes to choose from. Thank you for the meal.

When I was in Kanazawa, I used to go to hot springs and have a meal once a week, but since returning to Kyoto, I haven't been able to go as often. This time, my sister-in-law and her husband invited me, so the four of us went together. We went to the bath first and then had our meal in the second session. The bath had a large public bath and an outdoor bath, and the atmosphere was quite nice with tatami mats. However, the service was slow and we had to inquire about our turn. The food was a bit lacking as it seemed they were struggling to keep up with replenishing it. The pork steak and charcoal-grilled chicken were good, and the vegetables were fresh and delicious as they were from their own farm. There was a variety of vegetable dishes, miso soup with plenty of vegetables, and chirashi sushi with salmon, squid, and yellowtail, which was quite good. There was also curry, yakisoba, and even some beer garden items on the menu, all at reasonable prices. The seasoning was decent as well. Dessert included ice cream, which was also okay. The price of 2,300 yen per person with the bath included was quite reasonable. The place was full on the day we went, and the next day was also fully booked due to the long weekend. If you prefer a vegetable-centric buffet, this place might be good for those who enjoy healthy eating. Rating: 3.3

I visited for lunch. There was a plan that included a bath, and most people seemed to also take a bath. Lunch was a buffet style with a variety of side dishes and vegetables. There were mainly Japanese side dishes, as well as meat and fish. The vegetables from their own farm and local vegetables were delicious and you could have plenty of them, which was nice. There were also many types of dressings available. There were quite a few families, so it wasn't very calm, but considering the price for the bath and lunch, it might be a good deal. There seemed to be plans other than the buffet, so if you want to relax, that might be better.
