This shop is related to the shop "Gofu Yukke Katamari" that I visited before. It's Golden Week, so I arrived 30 minutes before opening with plenty of time and was the third group in line! The first round was of course full, and after that, it seems you can take a numbered ticket and wait by sightseeing at nearby Yasaka Shrine, etc. By the way, reservations are not accepted, but you can check the number of waiting groups on the website, and if you take a numbered ticket, you will receive a notification via LINE or phone.
While waiting in line on the stairs in front of the shop and looking at the menu, the staff took our order before entering, so the rice came out fairly quickly after we sat down. This shop has Instagram-exclusive menu items, and you can order by showing a photo on Instagram! I ordered the Instagram-exclusive A5 Wagyu Beef Mega Steak Goju with Ikura, Uni, and an extra egg! It's a bit more expensive than other menu items, but it contains twice the amount of top-grade A5 ranked steak. The rare meat and toppings sparkled like a jewel box on Instagram.
The meat was just right in terms of fat content and tenderness! We first dipped it in the sauce provided on the table! Then we poured some dashi broth over it. The dashi broth was delicious on its own, but it was light in flavor, so it didn't add much taste when poured over the meat. Finally, we topped it with sauce and condiments! This way of eating is highly recommended. There was a variety of condiments, so we could enjoy different flavors! The Uni had a slight bitterness, so it may not be necessary, but the meat was very delicious!
