I bought three items! I reheated the voluminous egg croissant. Perfect for breakfast. Each piece of bread is large, so it's satisfying to eat. The almond bread is also delicious! The matcha bread was a bit too sweet.

The bakery that used to be different has now become GEBACKEN. Although the bread display shelf is small, there are various types of bread available. I purchased the Yuzu Pepper Mayo Chicken Bread for 260 yen. It didn't have much yuzu pepper flavor, but the combination of mayonnaise and chicken was still delicious. The location is convenient, so I would like to use it again on my way to work.

Gebeken closed its shop on Tanbabashi Street and moved to the Kintetsu station building. The showcase space is spacious. When I bought the Naan Curry (250 yen), I received a sweet potato tart as a store opening gift. The Naan Curry is a curry-flavored bread, different from the typical "curry bread" with sausage and mayonnaise. It was quite delicious. The sweet potato tart had a sweet potato-like sweetness. I'm not a fan of sweet bread, but for those who enjoy it, it was probably tasty. On another day, I tried the "Diana Half Sandwich" which had a mix of pork cutlet sandwich and vegetable-egg-ham sandwich. I'm not sure why it's called Diana, but the bread was fluffy and the filling was delicious. I wonder if all the bread at each branch is made at the main store.

I noticed a new store opened after transferring at the station. It seems like Gebekken has relocated from the west side of the station, following Shitsuya. The layout with a showcase under the counter is the same as the previous store. Next to it, there is a spacious area for a refrigerator. I thought they must be planning to sell sandwiches. The sandwich I bought was a cutlet sandwich with cutlet, potato, and egg. It was a great deal at 320 yen. Also, I received a sweet potato paste tart as a bonus.

I had a dashimaki sandwich. It was a dashimaki tamago with plenty of dashi. The umami flavor from the egg and dashi spread throughout, soaking into the bread. The creamy taste of mayonnaise combined with the saltiness was delicious.
