I found this restaurant near Uji Station while looking for a yakiniku place. The restaurant is a bit hard to find as it's located down a small alley. The interior is stylish and not what you would expect from the exterior. I ordered "Wagyu tongue salt," "tongue salt," "Wagyu harami," "kalbi," "garlic," "kimchi (cucumber)," "rice (large)," and a bottle of beer (Asahi). The food was quite delicious. The Wagyu and regular meat were both lean and easy to eat. The kalbi had minimal fat, which was nice. I added "Wagyu harami," "kalbi," "stone bibimbap," and "pork belly" because they were so tasty. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food, so the value for money is good. However, there was only one lady working, so the water service was lacking, and I had to ask for water multiple times. But having water should be a given. The service was not the best, but I guess that's just how this place is. It's conveniently located near JR Uji Station, so if you're looking for affordable and delicious yakiniku, why not give it a try?

After a long time, I strolled around and saw the night cherry blossoms floating under the city lights near Uji Bridge. The season is getting better! I was looking for a place to eat when I saw a sign that said "Grilled meat restaurant run by a butcher." It looked delicious, so I decided to give it a try. The interior was a small, stylish space, different from the outside sign, but still nice. The harami was vibrant in color and had a beautiful marbling. It had a deep, rich flavor with a hint of sweetness. In addition to the standard menu items like tongue, kalbi, and loin, the hormone here is exceptional. It's made from morning-pulled Omi beef, so it's bound to be delicious. The harami suji is one of my favorite dishes. The suji is grilled until crispy, and the crispy, crunchy texture combines with the savory fat for a unique flavor. The liver is also worth mentioning. It's firm and has a great chewy texture. It's juicy and refreshing, bursting in your mouth. I couldn't resist ordering more. I found a great restaurant! They have a variety of shochu bottles starting from 2,100 yen. Enjoy the Omi beef slowly, everyone!

A few years ago, I casually stopped by this restaurant. It's perfect for anyone who wants to eat delicious meat! The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite nice, and it seems like local people often come here. The meat is really delicious, much better than chain restaurants. I often treat myself here after payday. The staff are friendly, and you can have a fun meal. I wish the prices were a bit cheaper, so I could go more often.

I had some business in Kyoto and decided to have dinner afterwards. We found a nice meat restaurant near JR Uji Station. The restaurant was small with only five tables. The prices ranged from 1000 yen for shio-tan to 500 yen for horumon. At first, I was a bit hesitant, but the meat dishes were delicious and the horumon was flavorful. The tongue seemed to be frozen, but overall, it was good quality meat. However, the total bill for three people was a bit pricey at 18,000 yen. Overall, it was a decent meal.
