Located in a place seemingly untouched by tourists, this udon and obanzai restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who lives nearby. The small restaurant has a counter and three 4-person tables, where regular customers quietly enjoy their meals. At the counter, there are numerous obanzai dishes displayed on large plates, all meticulously prepared and delicious. The udon, with toppings like umekonbu, is equally delightful. If this restaurant were located in a tourist hotspot like Shijo, it would surely be packed or have long lines. I'm glad it's where it is now! (laughs)
