I entered a shop I had never been to before, which I usually pass by. It started with a cold glass of beer and an appetizer, and every dish was carefully prepared. I thought I would like to go back again. The corn tempura was delicious with just salt. There were many dishes that made me want to drink sake. Next time, I will make sure to order the grilled saury.

Actually, I have been acquainted with this restaurant since its opening. It's also conveniently close to my home, and the owner is a classmate from junior high school. The area around this restaurant is in the same school district. There was only one lonely review, so out of friendship, I decided to post one. The owner used to work at a certain high-end Japanese restaurant in Gion Hanamikoji, and about 10 years ago, he opened his own place. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cuisine, with creative dishes like small taro croquettes, avocado and shrimp salad, and crab and vegetable sauce over rice in a Chinese style. The slightly sweet broth is appealing to women. All dishes are made fresh without pre-preparation, and they are cooked quickly from scratch. The eel I had that day was prepared by deboning and blanching it before serving. They also offer set courses at a reasonable price. I recommend this place to locals as a better option than typical izakayas in the area. (This review is extremely biased.)
