I arrived at the restaurant late in the afternoon after a delayed hospital visit. Despite being the only customer, I was warmly welcomed. The atmosphere was old-fashioned and calming. I ordered the vegetable stir-fry set, and hearing the sound of vegetables being stir-fried in the kitchen got me excited. The set included vegetable stir-fry, side dishes, pickles, miso soup, and rice. The boiled vegetables in the side dish had a gentle flavor and were very delicious. The vegetable stir-fry was slightly salty, but still tasty. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

Visited around 12:30 on a weekday. Ordered the "Today's Lunch for 710 yen," which turned out to be a simmered hamburger as the main dish with bamboo shoots as a side. It was nice to see seasonal ingredients being used. The simmered hamburger paired well with the rice and the simple bamboo shoots were surprisingly delicious. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you. Visited around 12:10 on a weekday. The weather was a bit complicated, but they were serving the "Today's Lunch" so I ordered that. The menu consisted of simmered beef tendons and daikon, which was quite tasty and would go well with beer. It was a relaxed atmosphere with no other customers at the time. Overall, it was a good lunch. Thank you. Visited around 12:15 on a weekday, but they were not serving the "Today's Lunch" due to the rainy weather, so I ordered the "Fried Chicken Set for 820 yen." The fried chicken was a bit overcooked in appearance, but the texture of the chicken thigh meat was surprisingly tender. Despite the lack of the daily special, the lunch was still excellent in terms of variety and price. Thank you. Visited around 12:10 on a weekday. There were 8 customers already seated. I ordered the "Today's Lunch for 710 yen" as usual. The meal consisted of three dishes: kushikatsu, oden, and cucumber with sesame dressing. It would be nice to see some variety in the daily specials. The kushikatsu, including shrimp, beef, and sausage, was delicious, especially when eaten with ketchup. I heard the curry rice here is amazing, but I always end up ordering the lunch set. Thank you. Visited around 12:15 on a weekday. There were 2 customers already seated. I ordered the "Today's Lunch for 710 yen" and was impressed by the large portion of fried chicken. The calamari rings were a bit disappointing as most of the batter came off when trying to eat them. Overall, the lunch set was a good deal and I would like to try the udon or rice bowls next time. Thank you. Visited around 12:10 on a weekday after a long time. The menu displayed the daily lunch specials: pork kimchi, taro fry, and yudofu. I was tempted by the pork kimchi, but decided to go with the "Nabeyaki Udon for 770 yen & Small Rice for 100 yen." The generous toppings on the udon were a pleasant surprise, including tempura, egg, meat, and shrimp tempura. The dish felt like a gathering of various udon toppings, which was exciting. The broth had a nostalgic taste with the flavor of shiitake mushrooms. Overall, the nabeyaki udon was satisfying. Thank you.

I stopped by before participating in an event and had some time, so I visited around 11 in the morning. It was my first visit. It seems like they also run a ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) here. There is a large parking lot and it is easy to access from the national highway. There was an older lady behind the counter and only one customer, an older man. It seemed like he had taken a break from a nearby hospital for a coffee break. I ordered coffee, but I'm not sure how it was brewed. It was nice to leisurely pass the time reading a magazine. Thank you for the meal.

I had the opportunity to visit a shop called "Hinode" after passing by "Horii" on Route 307. It seems that they also run a ryokan (Japanese inn) as there is an unpaved parking space that can accommodate about 5 cars. The lunch menu that is usually displayed on the board outside was missing today. When I asked inside, I was told that lunch service had ended. A bit disappointed, I looked at the menu and noticed the "Udon Set" for ¥720. I decided to order that instead of the ¥800 Oyakodon which caught my eye. The interior of the shop was like a greenhouse, with a large table in the middle surrounded by seating for about 10 people (chairs made of logs), as well as 4 other tables and a counter with 11 seats. The kitchen in the back was being run by what seemed to be the owner and his wife, while a part-time lady was handling the customer service. The quiet atmosphere of the restaurant had about 4 other customers, including a young couple who had ordered the Karaage Set which looked delicious and generous. After about 10 minutes, my food arrived - it included Kitsune Udon, 2 Onigiri, a side dish of bamboo shoots and seaweed, and pickles. The portion was satisfying, and the Udon was flavorful with a good broth and chewy noodles. The scallions added a nice touch, and the two pieces of fried tofu were a pleasant surprise. The Onigiri came in two flavors - bonito and plum - and were well-packed with freshly cooked rice. The bamboo shoot side dish was crunchy and tasty. Overall, the cost-performance ratio was decent, the food was good, the customer service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was satisfactory with parking available. It would have been better if they still served lunch, but overall I would give it 3.5 stars out of 5 (72/100).

While driving on National Route 367, I happened to come across this shop (located in front of Nankin-do Hospital) and decided to check it out. The interior of the shop was like an old-fashioned café, with a mysterious atmosphere that was hard to describe. I sat at the counter seat, which was a bit shaky. I ordered the "daily special set meal" for 690 yen, which included grilled fish, fried food, oden, rice, miso soup, and pickles. The grilled fish was half a saury (with the head attached), the fried food included shrimp, sausage, and white fish, but they were a bit overcooked. The oden consisted of thick fried tofu and two other items in a sweet broth. The miso soup had wakame seaweed and green onions, with a few strands of somen noodles. Overall, the dishes may not appeal to everyone's taste.

I went out for lunch today. The restaurant I visited, Hinode Shokudo, is located right in front of the Nankin Kyodo Hospital on Route 307. There is a business hotel behind the restaurant, which seems to be managed together. I've been curious about this place for a while now as I pass by it often. The restaurant has a glass exterior covered with grass, giving it a unique look. Inside, there are large tables. Today, I ordered the daily lunch special (690 yen), which included fried fish, oden (Japanese stew), pickles, rice, and miso soup. The taste was like a typical set meal restaurant, with a good amount of food and reasonable prices, making it a comfortable place to eat. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.
