I went to the Japan Sea to eat crab. I visited the Iwataki Onsen "Kikaku-ya" near Amanohashidate. It is a small ryokan with about 20 rooms. First, I took a bath to prepare for the battle with the crab. Although it's not related to the Tabelog rating, the ryokan's outdoor bath is located in a spacious Japanese garden and has a nice atmosphere. But let's get back to the crab. After taking a bath and tying the yukata firmly, it's time to meet the crab. They arrived on a large plate, quite a sight. The sashimi of the crab was delicious, as well as the other sashimi. The crab sashimi was quite large, but I bravely took a bite. Next, the boiled crab. Oh, the crab is sweet. The crab shells have a cut making it easy to eat. Then, the grilled crab. The sweetness increases when grilled. The bucket for crab shells is filling up quickly. We then moved on to the crab miso. It's like eating a luxurious gratin. Unfortunately, a member of our team dropped out at this point. The battle became intense. Finally, the crab hot pot. It was a close battle. Unfortunately, we were defeated. We couldn't resist the crab hot pot. The crab feast at "Kikaku-ya" was very satisfying in terms of quantity and quality. The staff was efficient and friendly, creating a homely atmosphere. I hope I don't have dreams of being attacked by crabs tonight...
