Opening the lid of the rice bowl revealed a full bowl of rice. Could this be the normal portion size? I wondered as I started with the vegetables first. The dressing seemed diluted, possibly from the vegetable moisture, and accumulated at the bottom of the plate. This caused the karaage to get soggy, so I moved it to the pasta and rice. The karaage had a good flavor, so it didn't need a lot of mayonnaise. With 6 pieces of karaage, it was quite filling. The rice was unremarkable, perhaps due to the late hour of my visit. I managed to finish the meal, but the portion was still substantial. However, the issue with the dressing or vegetable moisture (probably both) needs to be addressed. The salad is also generously portioned. Crispy veggies are a refreshing start. The karaage is made with thigh meat, lightly breaded and crunchy. It's tasty and satisfying. The rice, possibly local, is decently good. Soft and comforting. The miso soup has a gentle flavor that warms the stomach. The side dishes include potato salad and cold tofu. Despite efforts, some food was left over, which the staff kindly packed for takeout. Surprisingly, the leftovers with added miso soup made for a satisfying dinner. The price has slightly increased due to the change in consumption tax, but the value for money, with the generous portions, is still satisfying. While there are no ashtrays, smoking may be allowed in the raised area where some customers were smoking. The surprising large portions are a highlight, but the food is also simply delicious. A satisfying meal indeed.

Lastly, I tried combining both sauces, which was surprisingly tasty. The salad on the side, however, had too much water in it, which was a bit disappointing. The ketchup pasta on the side helped to balance it out. The small dish turned out to be sweet potatoes, which were very sweet and had a smooth texture. It felt like a dessert. The tofu had the expected taste, and the rice was served generously. Overall, the meal was enjoyable, and I appreciated the smoke-free environment of the restaurant. I had a pleasant dining experience.
