This is a Spanish bar located about a 3-minute walk from Ebisu Station, with a hidden atmosphere as you descend the stairs to the underground. The interior of the restaurant is based on wood tones, and even the menu is made from wine crates, creating an authentic Spanish tavern atmosphere. To start, I recommend a Spanish sparkling wine, Anguille Ice, with ice added by the staff on a hot day. Pair it with a platter of three types of Iberico ham. The ham is cut from the original log, and you can enjoy the different flavors of Iberico ham chorizo, smoked Iberico pork tongue, and more. Next, I tried the seasonal marinated blue fish (maybe sardines?) and the popular avocado baguette. The marinated fish is refreshing yet hearty, and the avocado with sea salt goes well with the wine. You can't miss the classic Spanish dish, Ahihijo. This time, I had the anchovy and seaweed Ahihijo, which was incredibly delicious. It's the kind of dish that makes you finish a whole baguette by yourself. Switching to red wine, I enjoyed the roast Iberico pork, a true adult pleasure. The tender meat with flaky salt and black pepper is a delight. The wine disappeared in an instant. Finally, I had the restaurant's signature dish, a seafood-packed Paella. With shrimp, squid, clams, mussels, and flavorful rice, it's impossible for this dish not to be delicious. I visited on a weekday, but the restaurant was quickly filled to capacity. The atmosphere was lively, with staff speaking Spanish in the kitchen. Despite being in Ebisu, it truly felt like experiencing Spain in this wonderful restaurant.
