After finishing my visit to my hometown and driving back to Kanagawa, I decided to have a drink with friends in Kyoto on the way back. I chose this traditional inn for breakfast only, as it seemed very Kyoto-like. Although the location was not very convenient for going to Kawaramachi by train, the inn staff informed me that I could take a bus directly there. The single room was comfortable with a tatami floor, a private bathroom, and toilet. After drinking, I returned to the inn, slept, and woke up to have breakfast before departing. The dining area overlooked a beautiful courtyard. The breakfast, which consisted of grilled fish, six small side dishes, pickles, and furikake, along with freshly cooked rice and miso soup, was delicious. I even had seconds of rice because it was so good. This inn is known for its breakfast, attracting many repeat customers. Although the curfew for going out at night was early, the inn had a nice atmosphere, and I was very satisfied with the breakfast. The inn has a small number of rooms and guests need to use a nearby coin parking lot, but I would definitely stay here again for the breakfast when visiting Kyoto. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
