Near Ichijoji Temple, how many streets are there? While driving, I saw a new shop with a sign that read "tofu" which I was not familiar with. I felt like eating cold tofu, so I stopped by. I bought some silky smooth tofu and soft tofu with a bit of bitterness. I enjoyed it as cold tofu or in miso soup. It was quite a generous portion! I will definitely go back to buy more!

Eating it without soy sauce allows you to enjoy the subtle aroma of soybeans, which is delicious. I added my favorite salt for a change in flavor midway through. Thank you for the wonderful tofu that is simple yet has a distinct soybean aroma.

One block of tofu costs almost 200 yen. It is over twice the price of tofu at the supermarket. It is comparable to the high-end tofu at the supermarket. The taste is proportional to the price. You can properly sense the scent of soybeans. For those who like elegant scents, it may be worth more than the price mentioned above. Personally, I prefer a stronger soybean scent, so this is my impression. Also, if you go in the evening, there may be limited options, so go early!
