Restaurant Tsukasa located on the 1st floor of Hotel Tsukasa in Fukuchiyama City. They offer seasonal dishes and also accept orders for catering. The restaurant also serves as the breakfast venue for the hotel. The interior is spacious with a good number of seats. Set meals are available for both lunch and dinner. The breakfast consists of a set meal provided by the hotel during breakfast hours, including rice, grilled fish, pickled radish, simmered vegetables, seasoned seaweed, and miso soup. Rice and miso soup are self-service. It feels like a traditional Japanese breakfast, with the addition of vegetables. Having such breakfast occasionally can be comforting, especially since it's not something you can easily prepare yourself. Drinks are available at the drink bar for guests to enjoy their preferred beverages.

I visited a restaurant that used to be Tomato & Onion but has now become a Japanese food place. I ordered the fried chicken set for 950 yen. The taste was very average. The food and the staff seemed like they are still improving. The pickles were very delicious. I might try a rice bowl dish next time.

I attended a New Year's party at the neighborhood association and had a bento box. The bento box was quite large, about 50cm x 40cm in size. The container had a design that resembled small plates, printed on plastic. The size made it a bit inconvenient to clean and dispose of as plastic waste, so I wondered if it could be classified as combustible. Due to heavy snow, both the rice and side dishes were very cold, almost like "cold rice," which made it less enjoyable to eat. Perhaps if it had been served warm in a restaurant setting, it might have been somewhat tastier, but as it was, the cold bento was not very appetizing. I was not informed of the price, but if I had to guess, I would say it might be around 1000-1500 yen. Overall, the taste was not something that would make me want to go back for more.
