I stopped by for lunch. The restaurant is located along the national highway with a decent parking lot. I ordered the daily special lunch set, which was liver miso stir-fry with gyoza. First, the rice and liver miso stir-fry arrived. I had to wait a bit for the gyoza. The liver miso stir-fry was delicious with a sweet and savory flavor. The liver was tender and rich in taste, although a bit oily. The rice went well with it. The gyoza, as always, was delicious. It was hot and crispy, and dipping it in the citrus-flavored sauce made it even better. I needed a large portion of rice to go with the liver miso stir-fry, as it was so tasty.

This time, I visited "Gyoza no Ohsho Fukuchiyama Store" in Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto Prefecture. I had some work in Fukuchiyama City and arrived there during lunchtime, so I decided to dine at Ohsho. I looked at the menu and found an original menu item called the "Genki Teishoku," which I ordered because it was the middle of the week (Wednesday). The gyoza was crispy and delicious as always, and the grilled meat was juicy and tasty. It was a different experience from my usual visits, but the original menu was also great! I had to go back to work, so I asked for no garlic, but next time, I want to try the garlic-flavored gyoza! Thank you for the meal.

King Shoji has been in use for over 35 years. There is a delicious ramen restaurant ahead, so that's the destination set! As I drive towards it, I see a familiar sign for dumplings. Hmm, that sounds good too... Even though I can't drink beer, this should be enough to fill my stomach for the remaining two and a half hours. The King Shoji sign looks aged and the entrance to the parking lot is hard to find! With a bit of anxiety, I manage to find my way around and park safely. The place is bustling and almost full, showing how popular it is. The entrance and exit from the main road side are hard to spot, so it seems like it's mostly frequented by locals. I order the dumplings (1 serving: 6 pieces) - I'll start with two servings. However, I notice the dumplings being taken to other customers before mine. I'll try calling out in a bit. Eventually, the dumplings arrive at my table. They are even more delicious than I expected! As someone who has frequented chain restaurants like King Shoji, I can tell there is a difference in quality. The sensation of the meat juices bursting out, similar to xiaolongbao, is much better here than at other places. Each dumpling is meticulously made, ensuring consistency. It may take longer to make, but it's worth it. The kimchi fried rice is also top-notch. Served at a leisurely pace, it is well-made with the perfect amount of kimchi flavor. I can tell the chef's skill is what sets this place apart. I'll definitely make this a checkpoint on my way back from Tango next time. King Shoji was unexpectedly "a cut above the rest"!

I love Tianjin rice and the perfectly sized stir-fried meat and eggs (topped with vinegar, chili oil, salt, and pepper) ^_^ Delicious! One dish I know is called Mu Shu Pork.

I have visited this place twice recently, but it used to be really delicious about 2-3 years ago. I have eaten here last time and this time, but something has changed. Has the management changed? Has the kitchen equipment changed? There are no more attractive sets, which used to be available before. The gyoza used to be hot and crispy, but the gyoza I had the last two times were soft and not very hot. The Tenshinhan was a bit spicy, but it was satisfying. The staff also seem to lack the energy they had before. It has become a disappointing place. I will probably go to other Chinese restaurants, but I am not considering revisiting this one.

I had dinner in Fukuchiyama and decided to go to "Gyoza no Osho" located along National Route 9. This "Fukuchiyama store" is a directly managed store. The taste of the "Yakimeshi" and "Gyoza" at "Gyoza no Osho" can vary depending on the staff working at the restaurant. I had tried these two dishes at the Fukuchiyama store before, and they were delicious, so this time I ordered the "Yakimeshi" and "Gyoza" again! First, the "Yakimeshi" arrived in about 5 minutes. The rice was fried to a fluffy texture and moist overall. It was delicious. Then, the "Gyoza" arrived shortly after! The grilling was done well, the skin was not too oily, and the edges were not detached. It was in good condition. Just like before, these two dishes were delicious this time as well. Come to think of it, I remembered that the Fukuchiyama store used to be open 24 hours. I finished my meal. Thank you for the meal. If you are coming from the opposite lane, you can reach the restaurant by entering the side road and making a turn.

I stopped by Gyoza no Ohsho for dinner on my way back from my villa in Kumihama!! As expected from Gyoza no Ohsho, the gyoza had a reliable taste ((∩^Д^∩)). I remembered everyone saying that the tenshinhan at Ohsho is delicious, so I tried the Fukuchiyama set, which includes cheese-filled tenshinhan, karaage, soup, and almond jelly for less than 1000 yen, which is quite reasonable (๑•ૅㅁ•๑). Ohsho is cheap, right? ☺︎ The table was a mess because the president I was with kept ordering a lot www. I couldn't finish it all, so I took the gyoza and shrimp tempura home (• ε •).

I'm on a business trip to Fukuchiyama. It's really hot every day. I just reserved my express train for the return trip... Oh no, it just left. The next express train is in over an hour. Well, since I already bought my ticket, I might as well grab a drink. Let's head to Osho. First, bring me a beer with foam. Ah, so refreshing. It's delicious! If this was Kirin, it would be even better. Osho's Asahi is not as good (laughs). After a while, the gyoza arrives. Of course, I ordered two servings. Osho is known for its gyoza. And more beer. It's so good. I had a great time. Oh, it's time to go. I should head to the platform. Can't afford to miss my train.

Gyoza no Osho located along Route 9. This was my first visit since moving to this area. I was intrigued by the Japanese ramen made with all domestically sourced ingredients. On this day, they were offering it for 680 yen including tax as part of a promotion. I also ordered a side of white rice. When asked if I wanted miso soup, I declined as I didn't think it was necessary with the ramen. The dishes arrived promptly. They also brought a small dish of yuzu and bonito flakes, which was a nice touch. The soup had a flavor more akin to white dashi than white soy sauce, with a subtle fish taste. The sweetness of the soup was noticeable. The noodles were thin, but a bit too soft for my liking. The toppings included half a seasoned egg, a thick and large slice of chashu, and green onions. The chashu was likely pre-sliced, but didn't have a strong leftover taste. It was quite delicious. The seasoned egg was also good, perfectly runny with great flavor. The rice had a slight sweetness and was not too sticky. However, at 151 yen, it felt a bit expensive. The total came to 831 yen. For that price, I would prefer to visit a ramen specialty shop with more unique offerings. Thank you for the meal.

New Menu - Japan Ramen is currently running a campaign. They promote that all ingredients are domestically sourced. Bonito flakes and yuzu are served on separate plates and added just before eating. The thick chashu had a large amount of fat, which was a bit concerning, but the soup was light and easy to finish, showing a lot of thought put into it. My wife was also satisfied with the taste. However, some of the dumplings had loose seams, causing the filling to spill out. Overall, Japan Ramen is very delicious and highly recommended.

This summer vacation, I couldn't take my kids anywhere, but on a recent day off, I decided to at least have lunch together. When I asked where they wanted to go, my younger daughter said she wanted to eat gyoza from Osho. There is a local Osho in Tamba City nearby, but I decided to go a bit further to the Osho in Fukuchiyama City. My eldest daughter wanted ramen and fried rice, but couldn't finish the rich ramen she ordered. My younger daughter wanted gyoza and fried rice, and didn't want the fried chicken that came with the Fukuchiyama set, so I had it. The fried rice in the set was Hormone Fried Rice with lots of chewy hormones, but it was too tough to chew, so I had that too. The scallop tempura looked delicious, so I ordered that too. As for me, I had the daily lunch special which included tantanmen, fried rice, and croquettes, along with a serving of gyoza. When it comes to Osho, I always end up ordering a lot and it ends up being expensive. The tantanmen was not very spicy but still tasty. I wished it was a bit spicier.

Dumplings are something I crave more often than fried chicken. If someone asks me where to go, I would say "Gyoza no Ohsho" for sure. The ingredients are delivered directly from the headquarters, so you can rest assured that the taste is almost the same at any Gyoza no Ohsho. Why almost the same? Is it because the skill of the chefs varies from store to store? Dumplings, egg dishes, and fried rice are where the differences are most noticeable. If the dumplings are wrapped loosely, they fall apart when you eat them and the filling is mushy. But more importantly, the way they are cooked is crucial, right? The local store near me tends to undercook the dumplings, leaving some parts raw. The fried rice is also a bit lumpy because the rice is cooked too soft and lacks that crispy texture. The egg dishes are not fluffy and seem undercooked, with a relatively light seasoning. But they should meet the internal standards, so they're not necessarily bad, just not as good as they could be. I've been a regular at the Fukuchiyama store for about twenty years. The dumplings are crispy with a flavorful filling. The fried rice is crispy and fragrant, and you can even choose the original version with beef tendon. The egg on the Tenshinhan is fluffy and creamy, and the fried chicken is crispy and juicy. Perhaps the difference between the recently opened stores and long-established ones lies in the experience. The original menu items are also delicious and made with care.

This time, I visited the Gyoza no Ohsho restaurant in Fukuchiyama. There is a Gyoza no Ohsho located near the station in Fukuchiyama. It is said to be open 24 hours and the store is spacious, so it is crowded with families and office workers. I ordered the daily lunch special for 550 yen, which was very affordable. Despite the lunch rush, the food was served quickly. One of the services is the fast delivery of dishes. The deep-fried gyoza with sauce had a good balance of texture and flavor that suited my taste. Considering that you can get full for around 500 yen, the cost performance is quite satisfactory.

I always come here when I want a strong flavor. My favorite is the Moyatama Set for 800 yen. It includes bean sprouts, eggs, and meat, along with a serving of dumplings, soup, and rice. It has more volume than it looks, so it's a bit much for lunch. The daily lunch special for 550 yen is also recommended. The dumplings here are delicious, different from the ones you get at a regular ramen shop. The place gets crowded during lunch hours. The only downside is that parking can be difficult.

King Shabu Shabu is open 24 hours a day. The restaurant is always packed during meal times, especially on weekends when families come in. The parking lot is always full. I recommend trying the daily lunch special, which is only available during lunch hours. I added cold noodles for an extra 300 yen and was pleasantly surprised by the large portion. The atmosphere is not very cozy, but the food is cheap, delicious, and served quickly. Kids get a lottery ticket at the end of the meal, which they seem to enjoy even if they only win a piece of candy.
