I transferred at Tanbabashi Station, so I decided to stop by here as well. It seems like they always open at 5 pm. There were a lot of people passing by the shop, but it seems like the younger crowd finds it a bit intimidating (laughs). I had some horumon as a snack while enjoying a drink. Lately, there are even shops in Kyoto adopting the Nishinari style, but I don't really understand why Nishinari is becoming so popular. It looks like there's a new shop nearby, so let's go bar hopping!

Bacon and eggs 300 yen, salted mackerel 300 yen, two lemon sours 350 yen each [Total] 1,300 yen. It was a standing bar rather than a seated one. The bacon, fried egg, and salted mackerel tasted so much better than eating at home! Why is it so delicious when you eat at a restaurant? I really like this kind of place. I wish there was a place like this near my house. I'll come back again someday. Very satisfied (^^) Thank you for the meal.

I revisited this place because the negiyaki (green onion pancake) here is so delicious. I ordered the yakisoba with a slightly sweet and savory flavor, which turned out to be just the way I like it. It's irresistible. It's cheap, tasty, close to the station, and now it's become my favorite place to visit again. The chef is kind, thank you!

There is a retro standing bar near Tanbabashi Station that has been around for a long time, but they also have chairs. I enjoyed the green onion grilled by the owner and had a light beer. The TV was showing baseball, which added to the great atmosphere. The oden was also delicious. The local regular customers were having a good time drinking. It was fantastic. I will definitely go again. Thank you for the meal.

Yaki soba with fried egg on top is delicious, isn't it? Every time I go to the standing bar "Yamadera" at Tanbabashi, I always enjoy it! This time, I visited "Yamadera" in Tanbabashi after a long time. The place has chairs so you can sit and drink comfortably. Starting from 400 yen for shochu highball, the drinks are reasonably priced. I forgot to take a picture of the drinks as usual... The yaki soba for 400 yen looked so delicious! The fried egg on top really adds to the excitement! It's also very generous in portion size! Let's dig in! Mixing the yolk of the fried egg with the yaki soba makes it super delicious! From now on, I won't be able to skip the yaki soba when I come to this place! Another dish was the dashimaki tamago. It's also delicious because it's cooked on a large iron plate and served piping hot! The customers here are also very friendly, making it a great drinking spot! Thank you for the meal!

Owner and conversations at the bar are enjoyable. Tamba Hashi Station front Izakaya Yamadou. It's always fun! This time, I went on a tour along the Keihan Line with my drinking buddies from Kyoto! After visiting a few bars, we arrived at Yamadou in front of Tamba Hashi Station. I've uploaded a video on YouTube, so please check it out if you're interested. It's been a while since I visited this place. The cozy little shop can accommodate about 7 people, and the landlady runs the place until around 7 pm! The owner seems to take over after that. I started with a Kyoho grape sour for 350 yen. There are various dishes starting from 200 yen! First, I wanted something refreshing, so I had a tomato for 300 yen. I ate too much that day, so the light tomato was perfect! Another dish was grated fish with cod roe for 200 yen, also refreshing. Next, I'll have a barley shochu with water for 400 yen. It's a delicious shochu on the stronger side. I was curious about the Negiyaki for 400 yen on the menu, so I ordered it. The Negiyaki with lots of green onions was delicious, with a soft texture between okonomiyaki and takoyaki. This seems to be a big hit! The conversation between customers was lively, making it the best bar experience! It was the right decision to revisit! Thank you for the meal. ☆Basic Information☆ Address: 7-1-5 Kitakyomachi, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture Closed: Unknown Business Hours: 17:00-22:00 Difficulty to Enter: ★★★☆☆ (Moderate)

Once again, I got off at a station on the way back home♪ This time, I stopped at Tanbagashi Station! Right outside the station is a place called "Yamato-do," which is advertised as a standing bar, but actually has chairs available. It seemed like a local hangout spot with regular customers, but since it was early, I was the only customer. I decided to give it a try! The staff, a lady and what seemed to be the owner, greeted me. I ordered a Lime Sour for 350 yen. The lady asked if I was feeling cold, perhaps trying to start a conversation. I assured her I was fine. We chatted a bit, and I ordered a Vegetable Stir-Fry for 300 yen, followed by a Tofu Steak for 200 yen. The stir-fry was delicious with plenty of cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, and pork seasoned with soy sauce and a hint of sesame oil. I finished my Lime Sour and ordered another one. The Tofu Steak was quickly grilled on a hot plate and served with ponzu sauce. It was crispy on the outside and tasty with ginger and green onions. I also ordered a Bacon and Egg dish for 300 yen, which had thick slices of bacon and two sunny-side-up eggs. It was satisfying. As more regular customers arrived, I decided it was time to leave. I'll definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!
