I visited this place thinking it looked good from the outside! Sometimes you just get a feeling, right? The interior was not visible because it was flowing, but it seemed to have a classical atmosphere. When I entered, there were only about 2 people, but before leaving, about 4 people came in (all alone). Everyone seemed like locals, coming by bike and talking about recent politics or baseball. I ordered a blend coffee for 400 yen and one biscuit for 20 yen. The biscuit was cheap and had an elegant taste that I liked! The coffee was delicious with a good balance and aftertaste, maybe it was Ogawa Coffee? If I got it wrong, I apologize. I was able to enjoy it and relax. Thank you very much. It was a good meal.

There were already two groups of customers. The time seemed to flow slowly inside, creating a cozy atmosphere. A man who appeared to be the owner made coffee for us with great care. One cup of coffee was 400 yen, and a biscuit was 20 yen. The food menu only had buttered toast, so it felt like a local cafe loved by the community. Local customers came and went consistently. Some chatted with the owner before leaving, while others read books before heading out. It was a really lovely space. I had a blend coffee, which was probably a medium-dark roast. It had a well-balanced, lightly flavored taste that I personally enjoyed. I would love to visit again sometime.

It was a leisurely final day for us. My wife and I decided to go out for coffee, and we ended up at this cafe that I had always noticed while commuting. The calm atmosphere of the traditional Kyoto-style townhouse interior made us quite happy. Both of us chose the homemade iced coffee, which was served with sugar already added. The taste was exquisite, and the coffee was delicious. My wife enjoyed the Uff Low-temperature Baumkuchen, which was moist and tasty. I had the butter toast, which was a large thick slice that was very satisfying. The prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious. This cafe is loved by the locals. We were tired from walking around a certain shrine since morning. We wanted to sit somewhere and have some tea, so we found this shop. It had a normal townhouse-like atmosphere that might be easy to overlook even with a map. Looking inside, we saw quite a few customers, mostly regular older men. We entered and the place was bustling with conversation, with the middle-aged master engaging in lively chats. It made me think that many men probably dream of quitting their jobs and opening a café like this. While looking at the menu, the older men had all disappeared. Maybe they spend their mornings like this every day. It was heartwarming and a bit enviable. I ordered an iced café au lait (the wording was cute) but I forgot the price. The master asked if I wanted sugar (they put it in from the start, not as syrup) and I chose with sugar. It felt like the right choice for this place. It was just the right amount of sweetness, and I had a nice little break.

I entered the shop around 12:10 on Saturday. There was only one customer at first, but then three more customers arrived. The shop had a nice traditional Japanese-style building and the coffee was reasonably priced at 300 yen per cup. The coffee was brewed one cup at a time using a drip method, and had a nice aroma. The taste had a hint of acidity, but it disappeared when cream was added. The owner, who was quite dapper, handled customers well and the shop was clean and tidy. It was a nice place to enjoy a quick cup of coffee. I might visit again if I'm in the area.

I went to a cafe called "Coffee Shop Ishihara" in the "Matsubara Shopping Street" near Nishinoto-in. There were a few customers here and there, mostly regulars who come in the mornings. The menu is simple, with light meals like sandwiches and toast, and two types of snacks. I ordered just one sweet potato (200 yen). It's on the south side just before the first intersection when walking west. The calm exterior caught my attention. It was my first visit, so I ordered an iced coffee (320 yen including tax). There was a logo of Ogawa Coffee. They also provided a proper coaster and it's non-smoking, making it a perfect place to take a break. It's so cheap! The small interior has about 20 seats. It seems just right for one person. The coffee was very cheap and delicious. I will definitely stop by again for a short break. I think it's a good coffee shop. It was delicious. Thank you.
