I bought it on the way to Kameoka. The location is about 50 meters from the Matsumoto Supermarket and Kyoto Bank on the road between Kameoka Oi Interchange. There is parking for 3 cars in front of the store. Next to the computer store, I was lured in by the delicious smell, and it seemed to have a high-class atmosphere. There are turtle shell-like cheesecakes, whole chiffon cakes, delicious-looking tartes tatin, mille-feuille, and many cut slices lined up. I bought tarte tatin, mille-feuille, Sacha (316 yen), and for souvenirs, cream puffs (165 yen), and a cheesecake shaped like a turtle shell. I ate at the customer's place in about 20 minutes. The Sacha was light, not too sweet, and quite delicious. The mille-feuille, there was only one sample on display, but it seems they make it fresh after ordering to keep it crispy. It is a bit sweet but within an acceptable range. The tarte tatin was quite rich, with a crispy bottom crust that was quite delicious. Shops that are confident in their tarte tatin often serve whipped cream separately, but here they put a little on top of the tart. The deliciousness of the tarte tatin is among the top I've ever had. I didn't try the other items, but they were said to be delicious. My impression is that the tarte tatin is quite similar to Comme Toujours in Kitayama. The mille-feuille and other cakes felt more delicate at Comme Toujours, but the cakes at Chez Santa are mostly priced at 300-400 yen, making it a cheap and locally-rooted shop. The location may be rural, but the shop was constantly busy, and the cost-performance ratio felt too high. The shop owner mentioned that "Koji Matoba came to visit," but regardless, it was a delicious shop. Hmm, there are few reviews and I haven't heard of this place, but it's surprising to find such a high-level shop... Oh my, I'm impressed. I will definitely go back to buy more...
