At the dining table of the Korean kitchen Yoon's family. Went to the New Year's sale at Kyoto AEON Mall. Had lunch at the food court with my family. My daughter and I had ramen at Due Italian. My wife ordered the stone pot bibimbap and cold noodles set with Yangnyeom chicken. The Yangnyeom chicken came in a box for takeout. We shared and ate it, but the cold noodles didn't have much flavor, so it was just okay. The Yangnyeom chicken looks delicious, especially when paired with beer.

I went to "Yoon's Kitchen" alone for lunch on the 18th while shopping. I ordered the Meat Feast Set because I wanted to eat meat. It didn't live up to my expectations. The seasoning was rich and delicious, but the meat... I probably won't eat here again. Thank you.

Returned from visiting a friend at the hospital, I decided to stop by AEON Mall Kyoto for some shopping. Since I had missed lunch, I headed to the food court. It was packed, as expected for a Sunday, and finding a seat was a bit of a challenge. I chose a budget-friendly restaurant called 尹家の食卓 and ordered a beef tendon rice bowl. At first, I was surprised by how different it looked from the sample photo, but the dish turned out to be delicious with plenty of tender beef tendons and a flavorful broth. The ingredients included carrots that were almost completely melted, instead of konjac. The portion size was just right for me, but it might be a bit small for someone with a bigger appetite. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Bibimbap is priced at 680 yen, and it is not bad in taste, and it fills you up reasonably well. Among the food court options, this is a healthier choice and also on the cheaper side, so it might be the best choice when you just want to eat something quickly. It's nice that it is served in a stone bowl at this price. Adding an egg for 50 yen gives more volume, and you can also add spiciness with the gochujang available at the counter.

It seems that a restaurant near Kyoto Station has entered a food court. I ordered a half & half set. I chose beef tendon rice bowl and Korean cold noodles. The beef tendon rice bowl was decent, but it seemed like something I could make myself. The cold noodles were just like any other Korean cold noodles. I guess that's what you get at a food court.

I ordered the Kalbi set meal. I thought it wouldn't be that tender, but it was surprisingly okay (^○^) It was a thick cut, maybe the way it was sliced was good? The kimchi was a small amount but decently tasty. The soup was... well, it's convenient for a quick lunch, I guess? It's a food court, so it's noisy and bustling (^_^;)

■Visit Date: June 24, 2016■Items Ordered: Half & Half Set Meal (Cold Noodles (Small), Stone Pot Bibimbap (Small))■MEMOAfter finishing a meeting, we headed to the Aeon Mall for lunch. It seemed like there were some changes in the stores since our last visit, with construction going on in various places. The coffee shop on the second floor was also preparing for a change, and some parts of the food court were being renovated. We decided to dine at this restaurant and ordered the Half & Half set meal, which allows you to choose two items from a selection of five. As it is a food court, they call out your order number for pick up. Despite it being lunchtime, our food arrived in less than 10 minutes. This set meal, consisting of half portions of two dishes, was perfect for boosting our stamina in this hot and humid weather.

During this time of year, I find myself going to AEON quite often (laughs). As usual, it's not exactly exciting, but there are so many people... Even though I said I would go to a cafe for lunch, I somehow ended up at the food court... I had eaten at Kamitomo the other day, so I wondered what to eat today. I wanted something hearty, so I decided on this place. Looking at the menu, I chose the "Grilled Beef Kalbi Set Meal." I received a pager and found a seat. After a while, the pager buzzed. I went to pick up my meal and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion. I sat down happily and started eating. Well, I started with the seaweed soup, which was nice. The main dish was beef marinated in a sweet and spicy sauce with a hint of chili pepper heat. I poured the sauce on the beef, wrapped it with bean sprouts, and enjoyed the crunchy texture. The seaweed was Korean, and the kimchi was spicy but delicious. Overall, it was a satisfying meal with a decent amount of rice that made it enjoyable to eat. Although there wasn't anything particularly outstanding, everything was tasty. Thanks for the meal!

Thank you for coming. Thank you for your hard work this week. The day before yesterday, I caught a cold and went to the hospital. I received plenty of medicine and recovered safely. My appetite has also returned. I went to the food court at AEON MALL KYOTO to "Yun Family's Dining Table - AEON MALL KYOTO Store." They offer a variety of Korean gourmet dishes such as stone bibimbap, cold noodles, and jeon. Recently, all the stores in the food court offer student discounts... I envy them. The limited-time cold noodle set looks delicious. I wanted something smooth and cool in the hot season, but I changed my mind at the last minute. Chicken nanban donburi for 810 yen. The donburi is small, but it's overflowing with chicken nanban. Look at all this chicken nanban overflowing. The chicken is Korean-style spicy. It was a bit too much for me... I was already tired of it by the time I had eaten about 2/3 of it... I shouldn't have been so greedy. I've been eating light meals lately because I've been sick, so my stomach might have been surprised. I'm very satisfied with this hearty meal after a long time.

The other day, when I went to Kyoto Station's Aeon Mall with my daughter for some errands, we decided to have lunch there. Since it was in the food court, we didn't have to eat a heavy meal, and we could each choose what we liked, which was nice. I was quite indecisive about what to eat, but for some reason, I was drawn to Korean cuisine that day. I had the Sundubu Jjigae set meal for 690 yen, and my daughter had the Stone-grilled Kimchi Fried Rice for 520 yen. We also added drinks for 100 yen (iced coffee & Calpis). The taste was as expected, but it was even spicier than I imagined (laughs). I'm okay with spicy food, but it was hot and spicy, and I ended up sweating. It took me a while to finish the meal, and by the end, I felt like I was going to burst. There were four clams inside, and they were properly cleaned, the egg was half-cooked, the tofu was soft and delicious. It also came with spinach and bean sprout namul, and the white rice was very glossy. I rolled it in Korean seaweed and ate it. My daughter's stone-grilled dish stayed hot until the end. It was also spicy, and even though my daughter likes spicy food, she said it was really spicy while finishing it. However, the iced coffee for an additional 100 yen didn't taste that great. That night, when we got home, I made Sundubu Jjigae hot pot at home (laughs).

On February 12, 2012, I visited for dinner. It's a food court in the newly opened Aeon Mall near Kyoto Station. They offer a variety of options such as ramen, Korean food, rice bowls, takoyaki, and desserts, making it a great choice for families. I decided to try the "Negi Shio Kalbi Nakaochi Don" for 420 yen at the Korean food stall. It was served piping hot and you pour soup over it, which made it really delicious. Among all the options in the food court, this was my favorite. Highly recommended.

The dish looked completely different from the photo I saw. The bowl was small and shallow. The amount of pork was shocking, it looked like a spring ski slope. The pork didn't cover the rice and was scattered around. And all this for 750 yen. The onions were undercooked and spicy. I was so angry that I forgot to take a picture. The sauce was tasty and the pork itself had good flavor and wasn't tough, but it was just too different from the photo. I won't be eating here again.

This is a Korean restaurant in the food court of Ion Mall, which also serves Indian cuisine. They offer a variety of Korean dishes, but the most popular choices seem to be bibimbap and cold noodles. I ordered the half and half set of bibimbap and cold noodles for 880 yen. Both dishes were half portions, so the volume was not that big, but the flavors were easy for Japanese people to enjoy. However, I thought that the prices were a bit high for a food court, and it would be nice to have a bit more quantity.

I decided to have lunch at Yunke's dining today because it was conveniently close to where I sat in the food court at Aeon Mall. I felt like having noodles and was drawn to the word "healthy", so I ordered the "Warm Noodles with Warm Egg on Top" for ¥780. I paid first, received a buzzer, and waited for a while. When the buzzer vibrated, I went to pick up my order. The Korean noodles were topped with carrots, shiitake mushrooms, meat, and a warm egg, and the taste was similar to salt ramen. It was a decent meal! I returned the tray to the designated area and said thank you for the meal!

I went to this place in the food court inside ION Mall Kyoto after 6 pm on a weekday. There were a lot of young people, maybe because of spring break, but there were empty seats. The food court is nice because you can choose from various shops. There is a curry shop right next to it, and the smell was tempting, but my husband and I ordered a bibimbap and cold noodles half & half set with three draft beers. The draft beer is only 350 yen per glass! The bibimbap and cold noodles were both smaller portions than I expected, and they came with a little bit of kimchi on the side. They were both tastier than I thought. It's great that you can try both dishes! The bibimbap had glass noodles and shiitake mushrooms in it. However, there wasn't much charred part in the bibimbap, which was a bit disappointing. The prices are reasonable, and the cute waitress with a smiling face was a plus!
